A lot of STAYs cried hearing Felix's beautiful voice. He made you feel every emotion to your core. For me that's rare.
Deep End: When this dropped I listened to it immediately and didn't cry at first bcuz I was literally in shock. My jaw was just on the floor and my hand was gripping my chest the entire time and I'm pretty sure I held my breath almost the entire time as well, so as to not miss a single syllable or note. Then I put it on a loop and listened to it at least 20, 30, who knows how many times. Then when my 14 yr old daughter finally woke up in the morning (she must've seen the notification and checked it out as soon as she got up) she came running into my room balling her eyes out saying "Mom! Who hurt Felix?!". She was nearly inconsolable. This song is so beautiful, so emotional and the instrumental is absolutely incredible and my boy Felix is literally a quintet! His harmonization with himself is so stunning and so moving. This song is a work of art.

Chan said that when Felix wrote the song, he wanted to give it an ASMR feel, that's why the end of the phrases are almost whispered sometimes. Felix also said that he had City of Stars in mind when writing it (stay correct me if I'm mistaken) :D

Deep End gave me chills when I first heard it, Felix’s voice is so haunting on this track, I love it!

I wanted you to love Deep End, and I think I knew you would. Felix has practiced and worked on his voice so much. What a reward for us all! 🎉 Felix has covered Finneas (Break My Heart Again) and JP Saxe (If The World Was Ending) in concerts, and I definitely hear the influence of both.
Hyunjin's voice is indeed raspy and soft, as you can hear in another song: miss you and ice cream. just hear it for fun it's okay... thank you for reacting to stray kids ❤

I love how all these comments are about Felix, but I wanna give some props to Han’s song because his, Seungmin’s, and Lee Know’s songs have been on loop nonstop since the release! I love hearing everyone sing individually so we can appreciate each person and the talent that they all have 🫶 love you stays ✨
During Deep End at around 30:00: When you point out the harmonies which seem to contradict the lyrics which are describing feeling solitary, that was a really beautiful observation. ❤❤❤

Lee Know and Felix were definitely solo tracks i was most looking forward to, since the others have shared their solo tracks before. i love listening to Deep End daily when i need to relax and just zone out. i love that they also chose just the piano for Felix's voice. it's so beautiful.
Thank you for your review. SKZ Replay does a great job of showcasing each Stray Kids member in the way they want to be seen. The fact that each member had a hand in writing their songs shows another facet of their talent.
I enjoy all of the music, but I absolutely LOVE Doodle and Deep End. Doodle is PERFECT for Changbin. What a great song.
Deep End is just on a different level of all the music on Replay. Felix's vulnerability in the lyric and execution of the song really is extraordinary. The vulnerability and emotion? The harmony with HIMSELF?! Yeah, he makes us want to slay any and all of his demons!

Deep End took me by such surprise my jaw dropped when i first heard it I'm really happy that Felix decided to showcase something different because his voice is so stunning; also if you want to hear a song with a similar vibe as Deep End, theres Bang Chan's "i hate to admit" which was also released on skz replay album
i love how anyone can appreciate changbin’s creativity and lyrics and recognise how talented he is even if rap isn’t the thing you’re most interested in when listening to kpop, i’m a little biased cause he’s my ult but that man hasn’t dropped a single bad verse in his entire career

my favs are 'doodle' and 'run'. Han has like 6 solo songs on that album, he could have just released a mini album at this point XD
I am pretty sure the message in these songs has nothing to do with WJ. He clearly left on bad terms with the group and if I remember correctly Felix was the one who posted in the social media a post asking people to support the group as OT8.
In case of Chan's solo "I hate to admit" (about missing a person who lied and broke a promise) people were wondering if it could be about WJ and Chan cleared it by saying it was not about him. for other songs there have never been such speculations among the fans, as far as I know.
I really, really hope to hear more of Felix's music. To me, he's a perfect mixture of RnB and indie folk. I just feel like musically, his voice and his writing fits these genres. I want more ugh.
I love your reactions, like usually RUclipsrs tend to always say they liked the songs and over react, but I really enjoy that you guys are truly honest, and if you don’t like it you don’t like it. Personally, I didn’t like Deep End thaaaat much, and my fav songs of the album were definitely Love untold and Limbo. Also, Mention you liked R&B, so I really recommend Nocturnal Animals by ZICO, I think you’ll like it.

I feel like Hyunjin's singing voice is more on the raspier/ breathy side. You can hear especially in Miss You.
RUN is my favourite song... It's suit my style.. I think SKZ Replay really showed their type of music..

Based on what you were saying about the songs I think you would like some of their other solos more! “Don’t want to admit” by Bang Chan is just him singing from the heart with a few piano notes. Seungmins 2 solo OST tracks are slower. Hyunjins “ice cream” is much more melodic and doesn’t sound as “Cluttered”. And “street light” by Chang in has some beautiful harmonizations!
You should watch the other tracks on the A Side of Replay, I feel you would like them since Connected, Limbo, Stars and Raindrop, and Lovestay are more vocally focus.

Love Untold has been one of my fave songs in skz replay. I don't know if it is just me but this song is really addicting because it is definitely my style.
Oh my gosh the comparison of Deep End to No One Knows Me Like the Piano by Sampha is so perfect. Love your reactions as you were playing back the vocals. Felix really showed us his range and it's stunning.

To me, Felix's singing voice has always affected e way more than his deep voice. Not that the deep voice is not beautiful is just I feel more emotions with his singing voice. Deep end had me shaking and shocked and ten I almost cried cause I am so proud he is finally confident enough in his control to make a song on his won. Absolutely love Felix and SKZ for doing solos.
Yay! Great to see you react to these. Can't say I'm surprised that you were so positively impressed by Deep End. My jaw kind of dropped and I've heard it a good amount of times since. I also really, really love Han's voice. He's just so versatile. From Hyunjin's solos, I think I personally prefer ice.cream. I hope you enjoy it as well if you ever listen to it!
*whisper* I don't think it's about wj. Even when Chan wrote a song about someone leaving or hurting them, he clearly said it AIN'T about him.
If possible please checkout Lovestay! Its composed by Hyunjin and not heavy Rap focused. Also its sang by all 8 members.

Deep End is the song that showcased the vocalist's range the most in this album. Felix surprised everyone with this song. I wasn't deep into SKZ yet when I first heard this and couldn't understand how the song was sung by one person. However, it's not the song that I would choose to listen to out of this album. Run also shows Han's range well, from high to low notes, rap and sing- definitely not a boring one. That said, if I were to rate these 5 songs from my preference, it'll be: Doodle > Love untold > Deep End > Run > Hug Me.

2. Please do react to skz cover of exo's call me baby. they barely changed anything but something about the performance and the vocals speaks to me. would also like to hear your views on 24 to 25 as well as winter falls.
3. I am obsessed with Bang Chan's voice( not disregarding any of the kids, I love em all😭❤). I think Chan tends to hold back a little when it comes to him, himself as a singer. idk if it's just me but it is kinda different to when he has chilled sing along sessions. I think you would love to hear what I am talking about if you search 'bang chan singing compilations'. It's not all voice all the time as the songs might be loud but you can definitely pick up his voice harmonizing.
