She was able to use the publicity of herself and her family from the show to create this business that only the Kardashian's (and Jenner's) understand. With that, they have made an incredible living, have great power within themselves, and are now known as one of the most famous families today. They still keep their dignity, they encourage self love, and of course keep the love and support within their family no matter what happens. To me, that's true success.

amen. I'm not really into this family stuff but Kris is a marketing genius whether you like her or not. She manages to create a huge brand around this "talent-less" family. Her mother pushed her to do it at a young age and she happened to turn into a real model. She has an actual job unlike the rest of the girls who just continue to piggyback off of reality show fame that started from Kim's sex tape. Kendall doesn't use the show to boost her fame nor does she continue to use her family's name to support her modeling career. She works for herself.
Kendall needs the show as much as the others. Without the show no one would know who she is. She may do modeling but she'll continue appearing on the show because that's what keeps her current.
alexcnb She's one of the top supermodels in the country currently. She models for major designers all over the world. She doesn't rely on anyone. People know her name now because of her modeling not just for this show.
No Sophie, people know her because she's a Kardashian (even though she doesn't carry the name), that's where people saw her first. The reason major designers want her is because of her family connections. If this girl had not been a Kardashian she would have never made it in the fashion industry, let alone have high brands hire her. It's very easy to fulfill your dreams when you have big connections and money. Just a spoiled brat with good looks. Instead of 'designing' she models, so what? She's still living off the family name and wealth to sustain her career.

She learnt from her various friends over the years during the parties she and her husband, Robert K, threw. What was the catalyst was marrying Bruce who was almost broke and hadn't worked for 6 years but they needed to support their children.
The Kards have excellent and healthful eating habits, I've noticed. For example, all are big on eating medically sound salads. They're big on salads. So it's a wonder that the Kards haven't including in their already profitable brand "Cooking With The Kardashians," at least starring Khloe. My physicians are impressed with my blood labs as a result of the Kard's influence relative to the eating of salads. Kourt, for example, is notorious for eating deep green, perhaps spinach, things.

I sum up their success to Kim, this would never have happened if Kim was not as beautiful, with a curvaceous body (esp. pre-baby days) and wore fashionable clothes. People would tune in just to watch her. I remember when Kim was just hanging out with Paris Hilton and the paparazzi would follow Paris and because Kim would be at these places with Paris she would be caught in the paparazzi frenzy and I remember thinking wow that girl with Paris is gorgeous. She with her beauty alone launched all of her families careers. And now Kendall is the beauty and keeps this family trending. Sadly at times it's just the way it is, beauty can make you rich.

The show started off one way but because they are such a HUGE family with multiple stories to tell it took off. MOST Reality TV Shows make people famous household names anyway. *The Paparazzi, SOCIAL MEDIA, Celebrity Gossip Blogs and Magazines and most of all their "Haters" KEEP them RELEVANT always*.

I've had days when I've seen Kris as a greedy woman who brought her children up to use their body's to make money and I've had times when I recognise that she should be giving lectures at a business school. Over time I have realised that at the end of the day, she has brought her kids up the best she knows how to and NOBODY is a perfect mother, not even mine and believe me, I had a fantastic mother.
Financial security is obviously very important to her but she does love her daughters to death.

This family is successful in a legal for-profit enterprise that involves fashion, media, pop culture, etc.,so there will be people who hate them solely for being successful, being Hollywood, being rich, or for a myriad of other reasons. These haters do not realize that they provide jobs for their employees, pay their taxes, and perhaps inspire other people to achieve success on their own terms.There are many other businesses that profit from other people's misery. p.s. I appreciate her managing skills, but what really annoys me is the fact that they constantly represent themselves as "hard-working people", especially Kim. It's kind of funny to watch them complain on their show how hard they worked to get where they are. I'm a dental student, I spend every single day of my life studying books that have over 500 pages, and one day if I make it, I will be able to say that I worked my ass off to become succesful.
