    Nice video Stan, great job explaining how to set it up. We will be doing a video soon showing it in action. I just finished making the holder for the diamond. I used to do a lot of form grinding using a dresser like this, CNC hard turning and grinding pretty much took over form grinding.

    Thank you for showing us how to use this gadget.
    I have one that I got a few months ago. I figured it was pretty complicated.
    You made it easier to comprehend. The center height gauge is my next project.

    Thanks Stan. Alot to using a radius tangent dresser properly. I've set mine up and used it twice. I need to get it out and get some time on it so I'll feel more comfortable using it. Thanks for the video, I enjoyed it. Thumbs up

    very informative thanks. I recently learned that diamond dimension/size also makes a difference depending on the type of wheel used - would be interested in learning about that as well.

      @@rrr-uh9hk Yuasa featured in this video is the most comprehensive instructional video I have ever seen. My advice to you is to buy a Yuasa or similar wheel dresser and watch this video several times. He goes thru entire process of qualifying fixture and setting diamond for radius work

      Hey Brian,
      Same as a can of dusting air (Inverted) but it has penetrating oil mixed with it, anything with liquid nitrogen as a propellant will freeze parts.

    I've got a Boyar-Schultz 612 - what are the hexagonal rods that look like foot pegs sticking-out left and right?

    • @ShadonHKW
      @ShadonHKW  5 лет назад +2

      Those are rigging posts to lift the machine, 3 point mount, 2 hex rods + the front center cross feed snout. Machine will pick level and balanced.

      Flat work and heavy removal the overhead is wonderful, for finish flat work I dress off the table, for shapes, I use the dressing head. Thanks for stopping by.
