Hiya John, What a beautiful day to be out and about doing what you love 👍 And 2 coins straight off , The second coins signal was a screamer,i love how you told us it was a near surface find 👍 Great advice at the end too with the dry ground. Stay lucky And happy hunting my friend
Yeah. The ground was so dry, I didn't want to dig any actual holes for fear of ruining the yard and never being allowed back, so I just wandered for a few hours and just popped shallow targets.
@@clardetecting ahh dry ground, I'm lucky I'm right on a great lake so it rains often enough that I only have to deal with dry ground occasionally, but then we have November to March of snow, well we are supposed to, last year was super mild for some reason, I was able to detect on and off every month, the farmers almanac says this year is supposed to be COLD, so I'll see how the winter goes
I love old big schoolyards like that. So much history to explore and a lot of good shade, too
Absolutely. Old schools are fun. Thanks

Thanks. Unfortunately the whole 7 day forecast is for dry weather, so I fear I'll continue to fight hard ground for the near future
The shield cent is not a "classic Zincoln" - that would be the Zincoln Memorial cent
You are definitely correct. Please accept my sincere apology
