It's nice to play Smite again, I heard they turned off PvP for the last two years?
New patch is lit. The first day got dumpstered because I was so used to being tanky second day I was the one dumpstering. As you said just gotta feel out the new patch.
Only thing that sucks about this patch is that some of the lamer gods in mid lane had been buffed over the years to compensate kept their buffs. You can 70% health someone as thoth level 2 with 3 hits of your 1 + 3.

I love Smite again the games feels so much more fun plus my favorite god Arthur seems to be great this patch
People who complain about this patch like there's no tomorrow are the same people who complained about Persephone not being a two braincell god in release.

@@Kreaunot being able to kill people in a single kit rotation means that you need to plan your engagements more considerately
If you, as a single player and without respect to the enemy's health, numbers, advantage, build, can just kill people whenever you choose to attack, where is your skill derived from? Is this just a big game of whack-a-mole seeing who can hit their buttons because that seems to include zero strategy other than a monkey brain "attack on sight" mentality - rewards nothing other than a quick trigger finger

I like the new patch but I feel it's too good when you are on the snowballing side and too frustrating when you are constantly dying with nothing you could do to prevent it (and your teammates not surrendering when you are 24-6 in 12 minutes)

On one hand, the one shots are back. I missed deleting people with late game scylla or He bo
On the other hand, games rarely ever go past 15 minutes because of all the F6s, its not fun to be instantly deleted because the jungler pressed 2 buttons on the first 2 minutes.
lol stop playing so high in the first two minutes if you don’t see the jungler go mid he’s going to gank the side lane so play back
It’s simple and then if he is staying there he is losing farm this you will win late
@@MisterScooch yeah I've ha this problem a few times in Solo where i get hard ganked early cus their friends. it just is what it is. but then the same thing goes that i can turn a gank around on them if i ward it
Oh, early game isn't fun when junglers kill you in two buttons. But you want to play late game characters that can kill people in two buttons? Don't you see how this patch is just a failure in both regards?
The game is generally not fun when people don't have any agency and don't have any counter play
@@Acusumano25 you do have both counter play and potential I know it’s hard for you to understand but being Tammy and sitting in lane untill level 20 and then during the game you have to hit 2-3 full kit just for a kill is the most boring game and is an easy way to lose people. On top of you now being able to get early kills there is more outplay potential and now every auto and ability actually matters instead of being able to walk aimlessly forward and get hit 10 times and still have all your health is so dead

Hard to even get a full match now, just roll through everyone so quickly they f6 sometime between 10-15 minutes. Sucks wanna try new full builds but only get about three items
Yeah, people are delusional. If they don’t think they can come back in games I had an ON9 Oden solo an 0 n 7 Neith. We were all down about five levels my support my carry, and myself as jungle won us the game.

Stop straw manning so much. It's "I like fights that take more than one rotation of abilities from full health." It isn't that complicated. It's a valid preference.
Would much rather die 2x more for bad positioning and not warding than living with 20hp because I have training wheels on. Ive learned more about my limits in 2 days than I have in 2 years. Old smite was so boring, now its actually interesting

This patch sucks because they balanced the game, they made tanky/support gods playable and now they simply removed the balance because of you streamers who have big egos and like to have tons of kills. Now, every mode feels like arena, no strategy, the same builds and gods. I hope Smite 2 will end with all this shit.
Theres no perfect system created by people and perfect balance in regards to systems created by people. Theres always trade offs and ways to abuse the system whether its through bribery, threatening or propaganda

Found the reddit poster. Its always the streamers fault, not the people who dont take the streamers advice or looks at their own misplays and learns from them. Very typical "its everyone else's fault I'm losing not mine" mentality.

Yeah tbh the season of no skill or aim, like stay bad? This season you can fáil 2 and hit one abilitie and one básic and still kill, even as a carry you can turn off your brain even more, the season of the spam.
@@emptydiverse7470 If you're failing to hit abilities and autos and still killing the other person, it has nothing to do with the patch, the person who you killed is just bad plain and simple they failed to punish the fact you missed everything, this patch is perfectly fine.
@@TobyWilliams1066 the patch just made skill expression more evident, it really is that simple. It will punish bad players and force them to either improve or keep losing until they are in worse lobbies which is how things should be
