This one's an underrated gem for sure; the animation and designs and overall look of the piece is such a great vibe, and the music is great too, which I'm surprised wasn't mentioned from the filmmaking standpoint. Definitely one of my favorites, even if the game wasn't all that great and I never got to play it anyway.
He didn't menction it because these reviews don't focus on the filmmaking standpoint, just the accuracy if the animals. But yes, great doc and great vid.
Amazing video, can't wait for the monsters resurrected video. I actually think you should make a video per episode, cause it has so many inaccuracies that if you wanna make it in 1 single video, it is gonna be an extremely long one.
If all he does is talk about the Spinosaurus episode and nothing else like all other Paleo-tubers who reviewed Monsters Resurrected have done I will be very disappointed.
Man, I remember watching this as a kid and absolutely loving it. And I’m so glad that it (mostly) holds up scientifically, while still being entertaining.
My childhood game. I remember playing it almost every day. I recently replayed it again. Maybe it has not the best gameplay, but the soundtrack is truly a masterpiece, brings me back.
The tyolosaurs Design was freaking awesome I remember back in the day they used to have some shirts of this animal on National Geographic online unfortunately I didn’t get the shirt but I would like to and I had another Tyolsaur At the time
I liked the sound track sound in the credits of this film. Different stories Different lives. Not only was it a good song for this documentary but it’s also a nice song about paleontology in general.
I actually enjoyed the game on the Wii. Sure it was weird and sometimes frustrating enough to want to break a controller from the uncooperative controls and broken AI, and it was extremely short, but it was unique. There's far too few open world or pseudo open world games where you play as sea creatures. Only other ones I can think of are Jaws Unleashed, some obscure Ecco the dolphin game I can't seem to find evidence of existing anymore and Maneater. Really wish there were more games like those. Ideally a proper survival experience like The Isle or Path of Titans or Beasts of Bermuda, but solely focusing on aquatic life.
I'm kinda late but I love this series sm! I've binged your entire channel since finding this! You're amazing and your voice, is just a *chefs kiss*! Thank you for this amazing dino+ content, I love it!
Ohman i love this documentary so much! I also adored the games on wii and ds, i remember just playing to roam around as a doli haha! thankyou for this neat review and for bringing back all those good memories!
Yep. That little documentary is a classic on its own right and it's nice seeing take the recognition it deserves. Sooooo, what do we have for next time? Oh no. Oh no! OH NOOOOOO!!!
Another Amazing Dinosaur Documentary Accuracy Tier List ranking video and this time on Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure. I do agree that most of the prehistoric marine reptiles are pretty accurate at the time and for the dinosaurs in the other hand, not so much but still a pretty cool documentary and I appreciate it giving it A which is very impressive in my opinion. Great video Red Raptor and keep it up with the Scientific dinosaur experience.
Loved the punisher clip at the end it was hilarious, also I’ll probably have to see this now it looks pretty good and I’m really running out of dino docs.
Another thing I believe the movie got right(or close to) was only having the gorgosaurus hissing, which is currently considered as the more accurate way of communication
1:22 totally understandable, sorry if I was pestering you with a lot of questions in the comments about Mammals vs Dinos. If you ever can get ahold of it great, but I totally understand if not. If you don't mind one more question, I am curious whether or not Prehistoric Predators (2007) is on your radar at all? I believe it served as something of an inspiration for Monsters Resurrected, though my understanding is that it is more accurate (low bar, I know). In any case: keep up the good work!
been waiting for this one, I remember seeing it as a kid and being blown away by how (for the time) realistic and life-like the marine reptiles looked in this documentary, great video and can´t wait for the absolute clown fest that monsters resurrected is.
I loved watching this documentary ever since I was a kid, from then on I would rather watch animals doing their own thing than a human interacting with them. 07:55 Also, this picture cracks me up every time I see it.
When you do get around to Resurrected/Mega Beasts, hopefully you talk about the Megalania episode, as I think it's their best and most accurate episode, despite its flaws.
It’s only flaws are either simply outdated details that they couldn’t know about, or it’s the constant fighting that the whole series is called out for.
I read somewhere that cretoxyrhina was driven to extinction by the rise of large marine reptiles like mosasaurs. Is this true? I always thought cretoxyrhina lived alongside Tylosaurus.
I loved this documentary to my very soul, so much that I brought it to my elementary school on " Videos day " to share with my classmates And when the tylosaursus ambushed the Cretoxyrhina from below( JW stole that scene ), some poor soul in my class can't stand it
Can you review Amazing Dinoworld? Its a relatively recent Japanese dinosaur documentary. The graphics seem much better and a lot of the animal designs are improved, but there are still areas for imrpovement IMO.
@@Foobie07 I guess accuracy wise it isn't that bad, I'm talking about the dinosaur designs and animations. The mammals on the other hand look really good tho
@@thepetiii184 Yeah same here. I also really like the music too. Actually scratch that, I love the music. Plus it does a good job of showcasing it's subject without it feeling messy and incoherent.
It’s my favorite Marine reptile documentary this was when National Geographic was at its peak at the time to the 80s and 90s to and all the way to the 2000s National Geographic was the best of the best but they suck now because they just talk about politics and etc. not to mention their papers they kind of suck really now because When they did a paper of Scotty the tea Rex they said it was 10 to 11× 11 times are you freaking kidding me that’s a bit too much also there was another paper of a sauropod having feathers and they put it on there so they’re just a bunch of feather Nazis anyways sorry to be over the top but National Geographic was at its peak at one time
Even though it has been months since the video has been released it is actually one my favorite dinosaur documentaries alongside walking with dinosaurs and beast planet dinosaur dinosaurs alive dinosaurs giants of Patagonia and titanoboa
Okay so, I know this is not a documentary, BUT, I was recently watching the Disney Dinosaur movie from the 2000 and was surprised to see some VERY accurate stuff for the time. Of course a lot is still innacurate(Iguanodons always quadrupedal), but I have really forgotten how much they got right in the movie, and, I think would'be great to see an accuraccy review from you. Maybe do it as something special? I dunno, so it doesn't conflict with the channel, and if only if many people like it. I just think it'ld be great to hear what you have to say about the movie and it's accuracies and inacurracies
I know you are reviewing dinosaur documentaries in the order they were released so I know these probable won’t be the very next one but will you pls eventually review the following?: Tarbosaurus: The Mightest Ever (2008) Dinosaur Britain (2015) Leap in Evolution (2015) Prehistoric (2010) Amazing Dino world (2019) Ancient Earth (Season 1 and 2 have drastic paleo-accuracy BTW) (1st season 2017 and 2nd Season 2018) Ancient Oceans (2019) Land of Dinosaurs (2012 I think) Adventures of Ceratops (Probably least likely to happen) (2014)
The fact they use the Dolichorhynchops instead of an obvious choice like the Elasmosaurus or mosasaursus is truly legendary
Agreed. Also, sorry, but "MosasaurSUS." LOL
Dolly for the win
@@陳嘉宇-y4q If I'm being honest with you. It should've been "MoSUSarous" but since this was made a year ago I'll kick out Blue instead.
Here's a BBC documentary series you should do: Wild New World/Prehistoric America as well as Monsters We Met/Land of Lost Monsters.
Maybe I might do a video about them since I like since I like Cenozoic animals mostly the North American Pleistocene animals
Monsters We Met is the documentary that introduced me to the place I would never want to go : Pleistocene Australia

you could probably find one on ebay or something like that
Unfortunately I tried
Part 2 of me asking if you’re going to review and rank:
- Walking with Cavemen
- Prehistoric Predators
- Animal Armageddon
I think he skipped Walking with Cavemen because he wasn’t interested (I don’t blame him)
He said that walking with cavemen is not dinosaur/prehistoric animal related so I don't think he'll review it
