So many negative comments . I think we need to appreciate the sculptures and the artifacts of the museum and may be the detailed videography rather then bringing out our own insecurities.

Cambodia - name is derived from Sanskrit word Kambhoj

Cambodian need to take more pride preserving their culture and traditions.
Not to talk bad about the Cambodian Museum, the floor is filthy the wall is old .
The museum needs bigger space and better lighting.
It needs a major overhaul, to attract more tourists.
Those artifacts really deserve a better home , as for right now the Cambodian museum is not a good fit.

I'm a cambodian and I don't disagree with you. The problem facing it is that there is just not enough money and our government would rather spend the money on building huge buildings rather then try to make a budget to spend on our history. :(

Im glad the people of Cambodia 🇰🇭 got their looted statues returned to them. There was a corrupted western art dealer that played a big part of the looting. He paid locals to loot them. And the statues wouldnt be broken if they were never touched and left where they belonged. Unfortunately the art dealer died before could be prosecuted. Some of these statues sat in million dollar mansions

I wonder why it says “India” instead of Cambodian Temple 😅

The word "India" doesn't appear either in the commentary of the video or the description. It just says "A Walkthrough" . Too much thinking is bad for health.

Unfortunately in India Brahmins are sitting in all temples calling Bodhisatva, Lokiteshwara, Avalokiteshwara and Votive stupas as Vishnu and Shivalingams. Our ancient caves as Trimurti. Thankfully the ancient culture of south Asia survives in rest of Asia. Our Viharas have been captured by Brahmins in India and they are calling our schools as temples, and running the business of worship for donations. Its sad that once great civilisation and culture id India has gone to the dogs.

      LoL
Propaganda of neo-Buddhists. You people do not know the difference between the idols of Alokiteshwara and Vishnu.
Angkor Wat Vishnu Temple was captured by Buddhists in the 13th century. The idols of Vishnu were destroyed and the idol of Buddha was installed in their place. After the 6th century, the Shaiva site of Mansar in Maharashtra was occupied by Buddhists

Sad you didn't watch the full video 😅
Even Cambodians know which statue belongs to whom. In this video you will find idols of Vishnu, Shivalinga, Ganesh, Krishna Balram with description.
Temples pay taxes to the government. Thousands of temples are running such schools which you do not know about. The temple in my local village runs a school and college and provides free food to all the children.
