    It seems like the original piece just needed a little more thinking time and I think you made a beautiful bowl out of it. Thank you for explaining your process and allowing us to see the hard parts too.

    Very nice bowl. I have had similar problems with the deep cast as it always finds a way to leak. I think the slow set time and maybe heat buildup will dissolve the tape. Where did you get the shrink wrap and does it come in smaller sizes (smaller than a boat)?

      thanks, i was able to get the shrink wrap from excess/leftover pieces or the end of the roll from my local boat dealer where i get my boat stored in the winter. I think you can buy smaller sizes on amazon also.
