Brandon, I noticed you lift your head up as you're doing bench press reps. I too did that for many Years, didn't bother me at the time, was told by a wise older Orthopedic body builder that it will cause neck issues over time.... 30 years later I can tell you he was right. Just a tip, keep the back of the head planted to the bench when doing Reps. Great Video and Content, Thank You
Hey, im following your beginner program. My gym doesnt have a squat rack. It has a smith machine/squat machine. Is it fine for me to replace both front and back squats with machine squat?
A question! Are supersets for hypertrophy or cutting? Or depends on the rep range or both. I guess it is effective for both purposes but what do Buff Dudes think???
No matter if you are cutting or bulking your training should always look the same and be based on the exact same principles. Obviously on a cut you will be less likely to keep progressing in strength unless you are a complete beginner. If you are advanced you will experience strength loss along with weight loss. If you are really deep into a cut towards the end this would probably be too much volume. But then again if you are cutting you need to realize that these things will happen and it's normal to feel weak and tired.
That’s a lot of volume, I tend to prefer lower volume and higher intensity (6-8 sets per muscle per workout) but this is a cool way to train as well. Also a lot of lower back loading all at the beginning, I like to put my bent rows 2nd or 3rd to save the lower back a bit but depending on how the split is made (and if you’re doing heavy squats and deads) this can be a way to get some heavy work in for the upper back
Like what was said, you want to mimic the same path that a t-bar row would do so chest supported rows would be the closest or if you didn't have a bench then DB rows
this has to be the first time i disagree with you guys. "Keeping the heart rate elevated" doesn't improve hypertrophy. If anything many studies have shown short rest times are inferior. Cmon dudes..
Yeah keeping an elevated heart rate doesn’t do anything for hypertrophy, but supersets are a great addition to any training program, they cut workout time down significantly without affecting performance almost at all.
💪 whoever put the music on at the gym made excellent choices, ozzy, gnr, wasp, kiss 💪
Buff Dudes Yeah!
I gotta go to that gym with the good music

You can certainly do squats on a smith machine, but I'd recommend going to a gym that has squat racks

is there an alternative for the t-bar row when you only have dumbbells and/or a EZ bar?
overall the workout looks great
If you have an adjustable bench
Do chest supported rows
@@ramsesii5168 yes i have. thx for the tip
