If you put the light stick inside a plastic jug it will be a larger light source and easier to see in the dark. Several years back I got a ten pounder there. Nice bugs!

Maine lobster does not cook the same as the lobster you catch. Just a note. So their wasn’t much to learn from your galley.

Hey Dan, thx for your wonderful videos, question for you. How can you tell when there are rocks at the bottom with your fish finder. Can you explain that to me? Thank You.
yes it depends on your fish finder, but rocks and hard bottom usually show up as a thin line on the bottom of your fish finder. I'll try to film a few videos showing that fo9r you.

+Norman Quintana.koiponds you can buy it on my website, it's on sale starting tomorrow, also Turner's Outdoorsman has it too. local fish would be rock fish, calico & sand bass.
those are midget sized crawdads compared to the ones ive caught fishing at the long Beach veterans memorial pier. I have caught 4 of them in my time at the pier and each different time it was by hooking all the line that was already caught around them, by accident! I would take them home and let them walk around the front yard for 20 minutes or so to let the neighbors see and get jealous of my 6 to 12 pound lobsters. they were as thick as a football and as long as a baseball bat!!!!
Is it illegal to drop those hoops in piers around California?
Yes I see using them on piers all the time, just make sure you only do it during lobster season.
tips on where the lobsters are?
Rollingtreesgenetics any type of structure at the bottom is where they hide . That’s why Dan uses his sonar on the boat to spot any rock piles at the bottom
