Well TBH as a movie viewer I can give zero fucks about what kind of person any celeb is. It's all about the work. I like the fact that she's not doing brainless masala movies like many actresses. Maybe having a great financial backing of one's family can help them think about the art, and not the paycheck. But to be honest, I have found almost all her work as an actor mediocre at very best. If there's something she needs to focus on is bloody acting!

Janhvi recently did an interview implying she’s so brilliant in acting and chooses tougher roles to challenge herself quoting “ bohat ho gaya freezer mein freeze hona, shoulder dislocate karna ab main maze karoon gi thumke lagaoon gi” and I wish the host would’ve replied “ haan bohat ho gaya yeh sab, acting kab ho gi?”.
She overestimate herself and has too many people in her company being dishonest with her. She thinks saying these things will give the perception that she's talented but it's laziness.
Unpopular opinion: Even Sonam Kapoor had better expressions than Jahnvi and Sara!
She was an average actor in Ranjhana, with her anger and sadness actually showing on the screen.

These star kids who can't act should take a lesson from Twinkle Khanna. She stopped acting because she was self aware, and she was a better actor than these kids today. Or they should act in movies which doesn't require them to do much acting, cuz they have no range whatsoever. Apart from Good luck Jerry, Jahanvi has been lackluster in her performance in other movies. Sara also has only 2 good performance under her belt, kedarnath and zara hatke, zara bachke. And I have never seen Ananya's work so can't judge her work.

Jahnvi sara ananya Suhana are the perfect examples , no matter how many chances you get because of nepotism, if your acting is bad people will never like u and ur films will be flop….no producer or PR can make an actor superstar…only audience and their talent can do that…alia was one of those who did that and that too at a very young age…because her acting spoke more and she got good films

Truth be said most people prefer their stars to do good movies, they wish their stars to do the right movies. They don't care much about others.
I love Gulshan from Dahaad and wanna watch him, but I am not watching anything that has Jahnvi or any untalented nepo in it.

At this point, it is so painful for both these star kids and the audience. When so many talented, fresh faced, beautiful actors aren’t even given a chance, it makes no sense to keep on pushing subpar star kids on us. Just watching these star kids (Sara, Jhanvi, Ananya, Suhana) is getting super tiring. These star kids are the reason for downfall of BW. Stars of previous generations (Kareena Kapoor, Sonam and so on) were atleast watchable (even though the quality of movies were still mediocre overall with not much originality). Now the quality of these star kids is so poor. If they give way to actual beauties and stars like Tripti Dimitri, Yami Gautam, Sanya Malhotra, Mrinal Thakur, Rashmika, the movies would be amazing. If not for stars like Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma Bollywood would have kicked the bucket long ago. If Bollywood keeps doing this, people will move to OTT and other language films (South films, Hollywood and also K films and C films).

Tripti Dimri an outsider began her career in 2017/8 and has been in 7 movies. She showcased her talent and range from movie 1. She is facing criticism from what I believe to be insider led PR. JANHVI began her career in 2018 and has been in 8 movies. She has barely been average and continues to have project after project. Gosh I am wondering what will be the outcome of Devara..a potential strength will be someone dubbing for her
She's only been in 6 films. And among them only 4 of them in which she's the lead. Others are small roles. Producers are backing her up only now when she's popular. She had to prove she could pull tickets before she could be given a film. And Janhvi has failed in doing that since the beginning of her career and yet she's getting films that too good scripts (wasted on her) . She doesn't need to actually be able to pull audiences. Double standards. She's just being forced upon us.

Janhvi performance is a mix bag is a thing in all her movies.. problem isnt that nepotism gives them a platform to debut.. problem is that nepotism keeps giving them platforms again and again, not matter how many times they fail.. Janhvi and Sara are the prime examples of that.. Bas kardo bhaii.. Literally there are young actors like Sanya and Fatima there too
As a south Indian millennial I grew up watching Bollywood movies more because of the modern and fresh writing in early 2000s to 2017 I believe. But thanks to growing capitalism and hunger of few media houses, they have converted all movie writing into a dhalla business. Only few producers like Aamir Khan and SLB are left who live cinema, which is still keeping Bollywood alive.

Janhvi is lost between having her own identity and comparisons to Sridevi. Her approach to acting is like tiger shroff. Both of them work hard, but they're not talented and lack consistency from movie to movie. Janhvi has to stop carrying forward Sridevi's legacy, which she's not worthy of doing, and having the misconception that the audience has her back understanding her burdens. She's had too many chances and hasn't done anything.

If you want to make a movie based on a Sidney Sheldon novel, make sure you cast a woman who can actually act. Sheldon's novels are all about strong women and when you cast a nepo baby as the lead who can't act at all, you mess up.
Hey, mind telling me which novel? I am an avid reader of sheldon and have read pretty much all his works. Quite sure i ain’t going to watch this movie so might as well make sure i read the work since i love his writing with strong female protagonist.

There is already little to no visual representation for telugu girls in this industry and now ppl here are signing her up to movies as a main lead with 5-10 Cr renumeration for her acting talent when telugu girls in their own industry are not even cast as side characters for most of the films. She had way too many chances and it pains me to see these lost opportunities; acting next to well-known stars would have been and even could have given these girls a great exposure and boost to their career. What is wrong with TFI? Every industry has their own set of amazing actors but just TFI has none. When will this change? Will this ever change? It's a shame that she is the daughter of Great Shridevi who was the first female superstar. Shridevi sometimes used to outshine male leads but here her daughter can't even shine in female led roles. So bad

It's been 6 years since Jhanvi made her debut and still no impact. She's definitely in line to say it's been 84 years in future 😂😂
The thing about her expressions too is that it feels very "Waah kya acting kar rahi hai", rather than natural. I can never visualize the character in her, just Jahnvi trying very sincerely. And so even the expressions fall short.
What are the chances that Jahnvi's next with NTR: Devara Part One would be a commercial blockbuster? And once the film succeeds (which it probably will), Jahnvi would be cheered again! And all of her misses would be ignored. See! That the advantage of privilege.

Bollywood actress run after telugu movies for exposure. For just one film and one telugu star, they'll go gaga. Telugu film directors just hire them for namesake, it's not like any bollywood actress got good movies like Sai Pallavi and Keerthy Suresh in all South Indian film industries.
Pairing her with mega stars is a strategy for immediate success and more opportunities!!

You said that jahnvi gets the cushion from being surrounded by a lot of talented actors. Correct me if I am wrong but I remembered Chris Nolan said that he clearly explained the remaining cast of Oppenheimer that it is Cillian's movie your work is to support or compliment his character. And Cillian was the least popular actor as compared to other cast but still he managed to stole the show and there was never a doubt about his abilities cause anyone who knew Cillian would know his true potential.
But in jahnvi's case makers have to surround herself with talented actors to cushion her. That's the difference between an actual great actor who only focusses on his work(Cillian has openly said that he avoids limelight) and a spoiled starkid whose PR and interviews project her as a "good" actor.
No one is waiting with bated breath for a fucking Janhvi Kapoor film. Hardly any of these new actors have won people’s hearts. People don’t go to the theatres these days, unless a film genuinely interests them.

Despite giving stoic performances in every movie from her(Janhvi) very first movie...still she is getting good scripts, big banner movies, ads.... And why, everyone knows ... Also these so called star kids like Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Pandey are getting good movies, roles and what not whereas actors who are actually good in their craft are either limited to only ott releases or given supporting roles in big banner movies ...
And it is only because
1) Public want to see them, the same public who troll them for being star kids or nepo kids
2) Their pr game is very strong ...
3) They are supported by their respective influential groups

When Jahnvi and Sara are cast in leading roles, spearheading the movies automatically the credibility of that movie goes down. When will filmmakers understand audiences DONT like them. It doesn’t matter who the supporting cast is or a masterpiece script. It is ruined as soon as Nepo is cast in them
OTT has actually created such a major difference that now a movie to be successful on cinema, has to be either larger than life or have a very solid story to pull the crowd. Even a very solid actor or amazing performance by cast of the movie or fan following cannot pull the crowd to a movie hall or retain it there for a long time.
There are other young actress who would have killed it in a role like this. Someone like Sanya Malhotra or Mrunal Thakur could have been incredible and they don't look much older than Janhvi either.

Surround star kids with great actors but keep star kids as the main character.
Film can't be termed a nepo product since it has theatre artists.
Keep giving them movies after movies of big banner production house. 2/10 movies will do good, and soon they'll have 7-8 blockbuster films and meaningless filmfare awards. They'll become a legacy and the cycle continues.

Everyone had a different personality and a specific skill they bought to the stage. Some were great dancers, some were more suited to love stories while some had the skills to pull off intense dramatic roles.
Today's lot is simply sad. Every actress looks the same and are more of an influencer than actor.
Orry was right when he said these influencer kids have a war room to prepare such strategies and have a creative team who makes such suggestive moves for them.
They know they are Mediocre but they really have a smart team which makes even the likes of them look good.

I feel it is the fault of the audiences that trying to look for a getaway from regular life that we have never promoted more grounded and raw films/actors.
The only thing that i like that jhanvi brings on screen is her vulnerability which worked very well with her first movie, mr and ms mahi or even bawaal. But her one tone dialouge delivery and also lack of engaging audience in tense moments is what makes her weak. Unfortunately she isnt improving at all and its sad that she gets so many films and even ones that are so good that it might have been something else if same chance was given to other actresses like sanya or even fatima
This is where the "the starkids are getting launched because everybody is watching it" falls flat. She has been rejected multiple times, along with Sara Ali Khan and Annya Pandey but they still seem to have their careers.

I totally understand the intro. Recently I went to Twisters on Thursday. Just the day before the Deadpool Release. The whole theater was empty. It felt really weird.

I'm terrified and heart-broken to see where the TFI leading to. Why are we even taking her here? Jhanvi had way too many chances and now she has few more back to back in upcoming TFI movies which understandably is so wrong and unfair to the talent in the TFI who did not even yet get a chance yet and are eagerly waiting for that 1 chance. There is already little to no visual representation for telugu girls in this industry and now ppl here are signing her up to movies as a main lead with 5-10 Cr renumeration for her acting talent when telugu girls in their own industry are not even cast as side characters for most of the films. She had way too many chances and it pains me to see these lost opportunities; acting next to well-known stars would have been and even could have given these girls a great exposure and boost to their career. What is wrong with TFI? Every industry has their own amazing actors but just TFI has none. When will this change? Will this ever change? My friends and myself had no one to look up to nor my cousins and now their kids too...

One thing for me I will never watch a mid movie by nepo babies.
According to this guy Jhanvi has great expressions but a bad voice for acting. That is because you can modify your face with plastic but nothing to fix her voice. Money can't change her voice. So sad for the Kapoors.

I think, there is a pattern in Jahnvi's filmography. She picks a movie where she is the lead, but there is always a supremely talented actor mostly outsider, who actually carries the film. Like Pankaj Tripathi in Gunjan Saxena, RajKumar in Ruhi and Gulshan in this case.

I am a big janvi Kapoor fan. (Not for her acting ofc). Janvi kapoor is so attractive, thanks to Mr whoever he was. And shes one of the best synthetic actress out there in Bollywood (nothing wrong with that). As we know that beauty surgeries do not age well. So instead of trying to establish herself as a "great actress" , she should instead focus on being a great "performer" . Try bold movies and occasionally comedy ones that's what average janvi Kapoor fan wanna see. In my opinion Nadiya par is still the greatest work of janvi Kapoor till date.
Also FILMMAKERS putting jhanvi with a stellar cast BUT her in main roles BRILLIANTLY leave the audience in a dilemma of whether to watch the film or not - because the rest of the cast is always great -l
