I wish this thing still had the firing solution radar within 3Km, not particularly useful but at least it made it a lil more special over the normal Hellcat prior to the 5N
The hellcat has one big advantage, that in a dive, the first turn with flaps is suuuuper tight, which allows you a to catch an enemy doing a horizontal scissors while you do a vertical immelman. Most people make the mistake of entering into horizontal fights with the BF and FW that have better roll rates.
The only advantage the Americans hold against BF 109s is that the 109 has such slow flap deployment time that the f6f can literally snap shoot with the very effective takeoff flaps. Now if the typical german fitted the landing flaps and kept the scissors, it would be a dead game for the hellcat
The climb rate of the beer phone online is less of an advantage at higher BR instead its shifts to better maneuverability so an F6F is a complete wildcard

Please do XP-55, my absolute favourite plane with almost 10 million RP gained with it, and can almost outturn everything at its br except a spitfire and zero.
This is the case with people thinking just because the Spitfire Mk V C is a 5.0 aircraft, that doesn't mean it's the same with any other spitfire (the MK IX or even Griffon). Often times it's Germans and Japanese player that challenges it into a dogfight thinking they have better chance in a dogfight rather than a energy fight. Which is a bad move since the Mk V could do 15.5 second of turn (better than if not the same as a Zero), diving speed of a late war spitfire, and with 4 sparknanos aimed at your six, with a few well aimed burst of ground belt your plane is now a flamming ball of meteor.

I love the hellcat
Perhaps its because not everyone is fucking lvl 100? And some are still grinding?
How can you turn faster in a
bf 109
lol a navy multi role aircraft against a fighter and the fighter lost
Dont sell the Hellcat short like that. This plane ate Zeroes for breakfast IRL.
Yeah the f6f should not usually win in those fights. Just comes down to skill difference lmao

Bro thinks he’s the king 👑
German mains.
this is why I main japan
The f6f is a very underrated aircraft in every regard. It is very fast it also turns very good at both low and high speeds, far better than the 109. Though its roll rate is kind of piss poor while the 109 is very exceptional a lot of players still don't know how to counter the f6f. To be both the f6f 5 and n models to go toe-to-toe with any plane
It’s hot trash, compared to the bf109, that has an energy advantage and doesn’t turn with you.
@@wongarnold2879 it's not hot trash at energy fighting it's just alright but it is a very underrated aircraft paired with a skilled player it can perform very exceptionally no American plane is really hot trash at energy fights there just mid
@@Thatotherschmuck all it can do is head ons and one good turn. All I have to do in the bf109 is dodge the head on and go vertical.
Defyn also hate this thing.
@@wongarnold2879 the plane power to weight ratio is pretty good for an American sure the vertical it's all right it's not the best in comparison to a BF 109 but saying it is terrible is an understatement remember this plane was meant to fight zero's in the Pacific so energy fighting was its main thing the better playing for the 109 would be a Corsair and news flash anything with a energy advantage will beat u that's why it's called an advantage.
@@wongarnold2879try out the f6f it's a fun plane there are over 500 planes in this game and the f6f doesn't disappoint many players enjoy it because they called the plane the jack of all trades master of none because it can do everything good but not the best which makes it a good plane to switch styles in terms of all what's going on in a match that only plane it has trouble are g55 those planes are killer.
And thus is why i dont play air rb
when you fight against a fetus
F6F will out preform the g6 in this circumstance. Personal experience and a mix of playing both planes shows that the f6f can hold a loop longer if you start at around 350 kmh unless the 109 has a massive altitude advantage energy advantage your gonna make easy work of him
❤
he was bad asf
In WWII, did American naval pilots duel with the Nazis?
No. But the Brit’s flew the F6F in both theaters
One of the things that get me off playing this game is that everyone just uses 3rd person mode, which I don't like and gives people a massive advantage over me, because they can see everything, I must fly by feel or controlling the camera to look at, so the players can make absolutely impossible shots if compared to me. And at like 600-900 meters on a flyby, and it just ruins the experience.
I mean, you could just play simulator battles since everybody there is forced to be in 1st person mode tho, there is absolutely no indicators unless youre very close so you need to really know the sillhouttes of planes so that you dont shoot down friendlies
@@fenni5047 Yeah, but I can't seem to figure out how to make the buttons work. Everything is manual like pitch and yawn and I don't have a joystick and I don't think I know how to program one on the key biding. I know I had trouble taking off, staying up and etc. And I Don't know if they changed that, but like I want to play in WW2 planes. I don't want the top tear shit, u know.
You can't fly in thirdperson?
@@uisce_ No man. I'm OCD. It has to be flown in a very specific way, plus I love flying from the cockpit. The sound effects are really good, then good immersion. Third person just feels like arcade you know? Like, Ive used to be a Mozzy pilot on Planetside 2 and I would fly on cockpit all the time and I could do amazing things in there just by "feeling" the plane. Like situationally awereness and I can't do that on third person. Plus like I've said, I'm OCD. And yes, it bites me in the ass all the time.
@@Melanrick what does means OCD? Btw I can help you with putting up controls in sim, or at least recommend some ppl to help you out with that, just dm me in dc: IonPerseus"hash"0783 (youtube doesn't like dc)
He killed himself
"He is not using his advantages as superior climb and turn rate" ahahah LIAR!
