FILM DESCRIPTION:
Young Keda tries to survive alone in the wilderness after he's left for dead during his first hunt with his Cro-Magnon tribe. He soon forms an unlikely alliance with a lone wolf that was abandoned by its pack. Facing overwhelming odds and nonstop danger, Keda and the wolf must now trek through a harsh and unforgiving landscape to make it home before winter.

Use your brain salty boy... during storm like this even if the water would be 1m deep (which is impossible), he would crack his legs, back and died.
To slow down a body falling from this height, you'd need at least 8m deep of water, but even then, he would have some really nasty wounds on the side he landed cuz of the speed.

Right before he goes in the water, you can clearly see that his feet are resting on another ledge.
Water tends to fill narrow spaces quite quickly, and humans can survive falls into water, that’s exactly what cliff jumping is.
Because it is a movie. And movies are not real.

When his dad tried to go after him on the ledge the tribe stopped him and said he dead and there’s no need for you to die as well and that they had to hurry up and go down and get the food ( dead buffalo’s )from the bottom and leave before the storms comes.
