I found this tutorial most informative thank you. As a UK crypto newbie I have found it frustrating to get into this and I am a bit worried about coinbase and being able to get my money back out. They have made minimum deposits a £1000 and also mention minimum withdrawals of £10000 which I find alarming and I hope I am just misunderstanding. I tried to deposit through my linked bank account and although I have done this before it recently rejected the transfer. I would welcome a video update of coinbases changes with regard to UK customers. many thanks for your hard work.
Thanks very much for this tutorial. I'm new to crypto and luckily found (very early in my journey) that it is MUCH cheaper to use the pro version of coinbase. I disagree with another commenter that you talk too much. You were pretty efficient in explaining everything - and there were a lot of little tips that were really helpful (especially on withdrawing profits - and maybe using PayPal - I'll have to see if that is free for me as well).

I am currently just using very small amounts - to make sure I know what I'm doing - but in the future, I might want to use much larger numbers. I dipped my toes into crypto in late 2017 using coinbase/binance was was living the dream until I was eventually wiped out by the crash. I panicked, selling my alts into other alts which all obviously plummeted too lol. I was a total noob(still am) Was for small money but for that small time period it was fantastic seeing your cash building up doing the day trading! Lol😁 A great no nonsense tutorial👏👏 Its made me realise I think i need to get back involved! 🙂

To summarize, if I want to withdraw my funds (euro) from Pro.coinbase into my bank account, I should first move them to Coinbase and then withdraw them as it is certainly cheaper. I just wanted to make this sure. Thanks.
After suffering some American videos (why say 3 words when 300 will do) this was excellent thanks. A little more explanation which limit orders you were clicking in the queue would be useful but overall this was clear and concise.
Wow, I wish I have seen this video sooner. Paid a lot of fee for Coinbase ( didnt know anything about trading and thought if I use Coinbase Pro then I might lose all my money because its for trading, not buying). So trading is basically you sit there with your comp and place a tons of buy/sell orders?
You need an experienced broker to trade for you or else you stand to loose all the money you invested I have been there not until I met and experienced broker who help me trade and also teaches me how to trade

You mentioned that good practice is to not leave funds in the trader, could you give us some insight on why and would my funds be at risk if i was planning to do a lot of small margin trades with BTC-GBP throughout each day? should I secure my money after each trade or would it be fine to do it say at the end of the day, because i would be charged to withdraw my money to coinbase then my bank, right? i'm also in UK
@@florencewhite4433 Trading bitcoin on coinbase pro can be difficult without proper guidance. Personally, I allow a professional trader to handle my account, my trader has managed to make me a very good profit.
Good example. Yet, I assume you use a wider price range (and subsequently larger time scale) as you actually finished with less money than you started with in this example... You started with $157.21 and finished with 156.96 or is there something I'm missing here?
I wouldn’t recommend keeping funds in either, as you don’t have access to your private keys on an exchange. The safest options is to send your funds across to a hardware wallet like ledger or if you don’t want to pay for a hardware wallet, blockchain.com is a trusted software wallet
I also want to know what is wire transfer and the difference between UK bank transfer and UK Swift bank transfer on CB pro deposit options? Also can you do wire transfer on both to avoid fees? What is the best way to deposit money into CB pro if u r living in the UK anyway that you didn't explain? Finally does depositing money to CB GBP wallet also charges a fee?

I can’t actually remember if I made any money on that trade, I was honestly just trying to show how it worked TBH. I’m no expert on trading, I would recommend DataDash videos he gives a good insight to the markets. Yes, transferring between Coinbase and Pro is free. Good luck with your trading 👍

Hi there. This morning I sold btc - eur. I must have done something wrong because I did not make any profit. Last time I bought was in Feb 2020. Btc has gone up a lot since but apparently the amount in btc-eur stayed the same.

I have a question. your selling price was 7876.8 and the buying price 7872.2, which means a gain of 4.6 minus the fee which is .30, you should be looking into higher ending balance. If I`m not getting any point, will really appreciate your help in understanding it. Thanks
This is literally just an example for the purposes of the tutorial. When you are trading in a live/ real life environment will be looking for higher gains.
How are you figuring out the decimal amount of how much BTC you are trying to get for the price your setting? I haven't ever been able to even buy and trade an entire bitcoin. Also, when you submit a limit buy order, how do you include a stop loss at the same time in the same order? Like regular trading software, it is so simple, and even have trailing stops and present stop loss percentages by just right clicking and chose buy or sell order. I just dont understand THE most important thing in trading. Setting a stop loss, whether you are buying low hoping it goes up, or short selling (which is another question I have, including a stop loss with your short sell).
I'm a bit concerned because it seems I'm only able to create a stop limit order, which to me seems a bit risky if I'm trying to pull out of a position because I'm not present. Isn't it possible to create a stop market order?
In your video you said that there’s a lag time for an ACH transfer. I just joined and made this transfer It says that my funds would be available immediately. There’s been no withdrawal from my bank. Is this true?

So when I withdraw Euro from Coinbase Pro into my bank account the fees are relatively low right? On the table you showed (min 17:16) is written that the withdrawal fee for SEPA (EUR) is 0.15 Euro. Does that mean that I shouldn't move the Euros first to Coinbase and then withdraw it to my bank coount? And, does that apply to any kind of withdrawal? Let's say I want to cash out 2000 euro, would I still pay fees for 0.15 cents? Thanks again!

You want to be in control of your own money/crypto, not banks or crypto exchanges. Coinbase doesn’t provide users with their private keys, so your not in control. To be safe you should keep your crypto on a wallet such as a Trezor or Ledger, where you have your own private keys. When you have funds in Coinbase, you’re relying on a 3rd party to keep it safe. Have been trading bitcoins for a year now on coinbase pro, I don't think it's risky to leave your funds in the trader.
Likewise, but i make so little profit. Do you trade on your own?

Yes they’ve changed their fee structures now and it doesn’t really benefit until you start trading large amounts 😠

Thanks for this :) only part I was still confused about was the last bit on keeping your funds off the exchange. Why is that bad and why do we need to transfer back into our bank each day? Seems like such a hassle but would love the idea behind it thanks!
You want to be in control of your own money/crypto, not banks or crypto exchanges. Coinbase doesn’t provide users with their private keys, so your not in control. To be safe you should keep your crypto on a wallet such as a Trezor or Ledger, where you have your own private keys. When you have funds in Coinbase, you’re relying on a 3rd party to keep it safe. @@EveryBitHelps ok so keep crypto on secure wallets that provide a personal key but what about our regular funds? You said transferring to bank is more secure but then mention banks being a bad place to store cash. Could you elaborate on that?
