Thank you for making this video! I just moved to Bangkok from California 1 month ago. I’ve been vlogging my journey so far and my fear is not always having fun or adventurous content to post. But that’s reality. Life anywhere isn’t going to be “vacation mode” (unless you have disposable income). This video was a good reminder that it’s ok to have routine and not feel the need to be doing something all the time. Thank you!
12 years so far... World of Tanks... Computer games, PS5 games, things like that, cheap fun, cheap eats and laughing with my long Thai wife at everything Oh it's a hermits life for me!
Great video, Great video! I spent 3 weeks there and it became apparent fairly quickly that I will need to find ways to keep busy. I'll retire there in 3 years.
@@philipdupont2308 I am so sick of being around with many people that I have to interact with everyday at work or hangout with in private time. It was all BS! I'm so happy that I can finally be alone! I can finally be myself at last!
Facts! It can definitely get boring. when myself and my wife lived there for a few months… we quickly realized that ‘vacation mode’ was over after about a month and we had to create a routine to have us locked in and not lose ourselves. Great Topic man! a lot of people don’t realize this.
This is good advice for life in general not just Thailand. Except for the furnished places this can definitely be applied almost anywhere in the world.
This past spring I moved to Pattaya. Almost every morning I go for an hour walk, 5-6 days a week I go to the gym for 60-90 minutes and I am beginning to study Thai for an hour each day. Every 2-3 months I get out of Pattaya. I have never been good in groups, so I know I won't be joining any groups or going to meet and greets. I am very sociable, but selective about the company I keep.
Yes getting into a routine and you won’t get bored like working out or learning a new skill. Thailand has a lot of good resources to help you get into a routine. You can get bored living in Las Vegas after awhile too.
My question for you is what type of work do you do outside of being a content creator and what other work have you observed Americans who live in Thailand doing
Great video! I’m in France and wish I was bored! I work online, take French classes, and spend time attempting to sightsee. I need to hit the gym, but have no time especially with two dogs. If I were retired I’d sign up at a gym, take a pottery class, and continue with French classes. I need more hours in my day! Anyone who is bored probably only worked and slept in their home country (homebodies). Which is why it is really important to evaluate what you like to do before moving? I like museums so I chose Europe!
Getting bored in Thailand is easier than you think when you live there and only interact with foreigners. If you are surrounded by people but dont and interact its limiting. Learning Thai will open doors socially
Amazing video, well thought out and constructed. As always. Looking swole man. Keep it up. Haha. You just mentioned the gym. Did you say "Dates" Plural? Hmmm. Enjoy!❤
You’re right about some of the Facebook groups. Anyone asks a question and there are a bunch of sarcastic comments telling people not to come to Thailand and stay at home and laughing emoji’s. Just a bunch of mean azz guys mostly.
Facebook groups can be toxic, gotta be careful in general when meeting people on the internet. You can meet good people but try to avoid the toxic people
I heard you mention once a place to buy Toppik (for hair) in Pattaya for super cheap. Do you remember what store? I'll be out there next week. Thanks for your channel!
How is dating in thailand comparing to canada or usa? Is it also more easy to make new friends in asia ? I have been single 6 years in the west and still dont know why? Need to to turn a page😊
As a male, how the hell does one get bored in a country like Thailand? Come on. Looking forward to hearing about "100 tips to not get bored outside of Thailand " now, that would be very interesting.😉
hey thanks for the video, would you say 2 weeks or 3 weeks would be sufficient to get a feel of life in a location? i know in the video you said you spent 1 month, but for my visa being shorter i want to see if i could do 2 weeks or maybe 3 to stretch per location to try it out
I'm on my way asap!!! I'd swap out buds, babes and dinner daily! Something always new! Themes for these girls, have them dress up! Fresh smoothies and sea food! I can't get bored there!! lol
Ive been following n watching you for some months now and I’ll be coming out there within the next 4 months and I’m trying to live out there the states are trash now . If you don’t mind i wanna pick your brain a little. Which is cheaper to live bangkok or pattaya ? I heard pattaya is cheaper n better. I’m coming more in the retirement side i smoke bud so i want to be around that . How does the visa action work ? Do i have to get a certain type or what n if had someone meet me out there from another country do they need a certain visa n passport? I have a young lady from Africa that wants to meet me there n wants to more a out the procedure. Where would the best place to get a condo there? From the states where would i fly out to n do i have to get a hotel when i first come or could i go to a condo ? I won’t bombard you with questions brother i thank you very much for your guidance your help n time n insight. As i said ive seen most of your post n I’m subscribed to your channel your help would grateful be appreciated. So thanks for listening n be safe out there brother peace oh by the way my name is Derwin I’m from Boston, ma .
Why are you bashing the people who feel bored? I think they have a right to because Thailand is not everything what you’re saying 50% correct the next 50% is got to have money you don’t speak Thai not going to have any friends. I live here for five years and I assure you it’s not the best but can live with it if you want. I think Thailand is really boring if don’t have money or have little money
I can tell that people get bored based on their visits to 7-11! Also, a RUclipsr (Life w/Serb) is attempting to play off of your videos and debunk others lifestyle. I’m not believing the hype based on who it’s coming from. Plus, different people pay different prices for housing, not everyone wants to go somewhere and pay over $1000. They might as well stay in the USA.
We are moving there in 2 yrs from the US due to our daughter's cerebral palsy they have great doctors that specialize in the treatment

January 2026 I will be coming to Thailand!!! Can’t wait to be bored in a country I can actually afford to live in😂
Haha exactly, I’m like I can do the same shit I’m doing here there and save money 😂
😂😂😂😂
Right. I'm bored as hell in the US and keep losing money. At least i can be bored in Thailand and save money. And the people are nicer too..😅
Great video,
Great video! I spent 3 weeks there and it became apparent fairly quickly that I will need to find ways to keep busy. I'll retire there in 3 years.
I love being alone here in Bangkok. It has been 5 months since I moved in here. I haven't seen anyone or just hung out with anybody. I just love it.
I do enjoy an introverted life most of the time.

Isaiah, you have really taken to Thailand! I remember when you first started. You've come some ways. We should do a video when I get back there.
Yes getting into a routine and you won’t get bored like working out or learning a new skill. Thailand has a lot of good resources to help you get into a routine.
You can get bored living in Las Vegas after awhile too.
You've made some solid points. Especially the one about knowing self. That's big in every aspect of our lives. Great video and advice, bro.
LEAVING ALL MY STYLISH WINTER CLOTHES BEHIND IN THE WEST WOULD BE IT FOR ME !!!
Tip 6, make video talking about not being bored in Thailand to escape current boredom 😉
REALLY? This is a valid topic. Smh, some people will just never be satisfied. Put a cork in it
@@TiredofTomfoolery7 how about you since you're unable to understand the obvious sarcasm with the wink emoji. I'm joking num nuts...
I've been here for over one year, not bored..Good seeing you in Pratamnak last week ..Always staying busy is the key😊 See you soon
Isaiah, this is a really good video. Very pragmatic. Useful. Overall really enjoy your channel. Thanks and peace.

I'm already bored at home, but ty for your concern.
Thailand is amazing wish I could move there. It just ain’t my time.
Routine is key like you would do in your city

We get bored everywhere if u dont have routine keep it simple and enjoy😅😅

Thumbs up 👍
Can only visit the temples and parks soo many times. Night life will ruin your budget.. The honeymoon living here wears off in short time.
I am planning my scouting trip for 2025 and will definitely join your group.
I think living anywhere for a certain amount of time can get boring. You have to have hobbies to occupy your time

Probably more so that they are just lonely. If you have friends and a relationship, it's hard to get bored there.
