This is 100% spot on! Every single point. I don't shop with friends. Shopping with friends to me is a social activity, not shopping. For example, I'm fine having a cup of coffee and pastry with my friend after window shopping. I would do this to support and spend quality time with her, and only with 1 or 2 friends, not a group. When I'm shopping, I'm in and out and done. I do not window shop. There is no purpose in that for me. T4. I went to buy a car with a very specific idea of what I wanted. The previous research was so fun! Car after car I test drove and my idea of the car I wanted wasn't working for me and my family. I still held to my ideal! In comes the car salesman driving a very different car from the one of my research and dreams. Once I saw it, though, I had to admit that it was the right car for me and my family. The T4 puts what is right above all and will change gears (i dont do humor, but it comes out unintended sometimes) when confronted with truth. And about reading online reviews, I read them for fun! I love to discern who writes the review from experience, from emotion, from a critical eye. I find reviewers who write so critically, so thoroughly with helpful info to the buyer that I read their reviews of products I have no interest in. So fun.
This is so me!!! I hate to shop for clothes! If I see a shirt I like, I will buy all the colors in that style and that lasts me many years, I have my summer shirts and winter sweatshirts. I wear, for pants, dark blue jeans only, year around.
I once bought a sweatshirt on vacation that I wear all winter. I dated it recently because I wondered how old it was. I bought it for my 50th and I am now 66. I have a t-shirt I bought for our town's bicentennial in 1993 that I still wear.

I'm cheap...a type 2. I read the criticisms became I want to determine who is the complainer after I buy stuff. I bought this coffeemaker that lasted forever. I read the reviews to see who agreed with me. A few complained about it. I laughed about it because most of the complaints made no sense. I take nothing to tailers. I like high quality lasting items. But I'm cheap. I might be secondary 4.

Enjoy your videos and program! DianeinDenmark talks about your system, and I was intrigued! I’m a new follower and learning a lot. After you mentioned your children’s type in this video, there’s a question I’d like to hear your ideas on. Are types hereditary, meaning do siblings, children, parents share types?
Thank you for watching! I'm glad you're here. Types are not hereditary. We are who we are and who we've always been, and Types never change. Please email support@lythelp.com for any questions you have about determining your Type!
This describes me so well 👍🏻
I'm so glad you know your Type and live it!
Yeah well... I still wear cowboys boots from 1997 and 1998. The soles are repaired. I can't imagine letting these go. One pair is black Tony Lama's. One pair is cordovan Dan Post's. And my car is a 2004 model. Are you kidding? These are 'making money'. LoL ~ L
Good for you! How long have you known your Type?
@@CarolTuttleVideos I read your book in 2014 and became a member. I still don’t know my type. One day I am 3, next day, I am 4, and throw in some 1 with 2 colors. LoL. I choose dusty colors in Type 3 sometimes and sometimes choose more clear colors within Type 3. You are talking to a confused woman. LoL. I enjoy everything. Hahaha. ~ L

I prefer to shop alone ... when I shop with someone else and they advise me on what they like for me, I immediately hate it. Reverse psychology would work really well on me, lol 😂 I don't like to be influenced because it makes me second guess myself and I end up not buying anything.
I took your quiz and it says I'm a primary 4 and while the characteristics seem correct, even with respect to the approach to shopping, I find that the bold colours & patterns leave me fatigued. They are too strong for me though when I was younger I really liked them. I'm a bit confused then as to what colours I should be wearing and in my recent decluttering I've gotten rid of a lot of clothing and trying to pare down the patterns and buy more solids.
I’d love to help you get your Type right so you get the full benefits of my program. Many women mistype themselves as type 2. I make it easy to get my help. I give Typing help every 1st Tuesday of the month in my Lifestyle group. Read this article to learn more my.liveyourtruth.com/dyt/truthbomb-tuesdays-everything-you-need-to-know/

Good morning, Carol! Would true apricot (palest orange, not peach) specifically "iced apricot" look good on a type 4? You know, like iced mint? (Which I am surprised is a type 4 color) Except the palest orange. I look washed out in the bright orange. I know orange is a warm color but the iced mint made me wonder. Found something online but it's hard to buy without having ever tried it. What do you think?
To disclaim, since a lot of people confuse peach with it, I'm talking about aprcot as i the palest orange, not peach, but in the iced shade of it. Thanks & Happy New Year!
If it is iced (shiny or metallic looking) then yes it would work.
@@CarolTuttleVideos Oh good!! Thank you so much! Yes, it is a chatoyant silk scarf.
