I like how Mario Kart DS has three unique course intro themes. The main one for the majority of the course, the secondary one for courses like Mario Circuit or Waluigi Pinball, and then a totally unique intro for Wario Stadium

Why is the mariokart 64 intro so familiar for me? I never owned an n64 nor played Mario kart 64, I was a wii person growing up. Was this sound used in other Mario karts from the wii and 3ds era?
