It's simple enough that I might actually be able to learn it in reasonable time, and pretty enough that I want to. Thanks for the clear and obviously correct transcription.
It’s his feel and touch. I’ve seen many covers and either they embellish it too much or doesn’t have his dynamic touches. The notes and the phrasing in this moment with mick and Dan cannot be perfected more than this. Even the one that’s on his channel doesn’t replicate this particular tone. Especially after Dan pushed that volume pedal a bit I think.
Your transcription skills always amaze me! That was such a great TPS episode and I’m happy that you singled out that beautiful moment. I’ve already got a multi delay pedal that I love, but Andy tempts me to buy a Halo now every time I hear him play. Great job, Pedro!
Thank you! I feel you, he sounds so good but he sounded just as good before he had the Halo! I use his delay settings everytime I can and it always works... Although when he plays it does work better, must be his gear of course haha
thank you so much for taking the time to transcribe this masterpiece. I am so very happy to subscribe to your channel and can’t wait to find out all the other gems that you may have.
Such a beautiful, yet minimalist (not to say simple) piece. While you can see Andy play every note super clearly, reproducing Andy’s feel and expression is the hard part. Even beginners would benefit making the tune their own and practicing dynamics and expression, even adding their own embellishments, like slides and ghost notes, some rakes etc. BTW, buy and listen to the entire Bitter Suites album. AT is quickly becoming one of my top 5 favorite guitarists. I guess it’s the school of Satch.
For those on Fractal FM3/FM9/Axe FX III, preset 372 (Hevy Devy) Scene 2 works great for this. Turn up Amp Level knob. I swear there was a preset even better but I can't find it right now.
Do you own a Blues Driver yet? You know that the TC Cinders is the same circuit and it’s under $100? Why don’t you have one yet? Did you know it has more gain than the name implies? Still don’t have one? Did you know it works as a booster for your already awesome amplifier? Still not convinced? Maybe you need to try bass?
The title of the song is Here lies the heart
Andy, You kill me. It's like it has always been there.

I totally agree well said.
A tone touched by the Holy Spirit…
Jesus Christ that is simply perfect.
