Cool part is if you do it right it doesn't hurt.
if your throat hurts after growls/screams you need to stop and relearn. If done right the distortion comes from the upper throat not the vocal chords
@@benjamintarnacki5068 This is a big reason why when women do screaming vocals, it doesn't sound as different from men's screaming vocals compared to their normal singing voice. The vocal folds responsible for the higher pitch in women aren't being used. At least that's my understanding.
