She was an astonishing actress. Whenever Joan is on the screen, she is all we see. One of the immortals, people will be watching her, admiring her, studying her, for centuries to come.
This is great to see. I didn't know Miss Crawford had done TV in the 50s as well. She looks stunning at aged 53. She is very believable in this as always. Very good at her craft.
This was absolutely an incredible short story. The undesputed Queen of Hollywood, Joan Crawford at her best! She looked beautifully elegant in this performance. Ms. Crawford may have been in show business by this time for four decades, but she still was every bit the beautiful, ageless actress. Crawford was a true Star. I really don't think there is any actress today that could equal the Greats of the 1940s through 1960s.
So glad she did these TV dramas, they gave her interesting roles quite different from what she was doing in the movies. She's photographed beautifully and as always gives a riveting performance. She was one in a billion.
Pretty Damned Great! I just love that teary eyed laugh at the end when she says;" He can see! He can see!" Only Joan Crawford could pull that off perfectly.
Joan's really "in her element" here. *It's so much fun to watch her* The blind man is played by Sidney Blackmer, whose voice I recognize, as he famously played Roman Castevet in "Rosemary's Baby". Very good episode. Thank you for posting!!
Joan should have switched to doing tv roles starting in the late 50s because she would have had more roles offered to her then in movies.. especially for anyone 50+ years ago.
Good movie. Good plot. I figured the key to solving the case, was the blind man, but not in this way, which was excellent. I thought it would be that he could smell the cologne of a man standing in the room, or that he was partially blind and could see forms of human images.✌
If the blind man could see, how come he didn’t tell Joan right away if only to thank her and John for lending him the money? At this point he didn’t know about the murder! Having said that, great play and actress!
I was looking for this vid, but, of course, couldn't find it until I was looking for something else. Go figure. Chris ...I know who the actor is.... Sydney Blackmer...best known as Roman Castevet in Rosemary's Baby.
that was pretty good I didn't see that coming the only stupid thing I saw was that guy lighting that cigarette even if the guy was blind he could smell smoke across the room that was kind of a corny part but all in all it wasn't bad thank you for the video
Tom Tryon was a decent actor before he turned to writing. Tryon, Crawford, and John McIntire all appeared as guests on The Virginian, with McIntire second leading the show in its last few seasons.

If You watch how She progressed thru Her career, from the 30's to 50's, & to the 70's... She was always a good/great actress!!! 👌🏾🖖🏼👍🏼
Simplistic story but smart plot. Joan was excellent. Tension and suspense.

NO ONE BETTER THEN JOAN ONE OF HER BEST
Love her acting

Having said that, great play and actress!
Good one!
I believed everything John said about Ruth, as soon as he said it.
I Love Joan.
if someone came in my home and questioned me like that old buzzard does joan, i'd be really pissed.
She had me until the end!
The husband was the famous John macEntire.
nice
Typical Joan, I love it.
That shit was brilliant

Would have made a great full-length film ❤
WOW!

Joan, you should have never opened that door.

That was the best 😂😂😂😂 strange witness 😂😂 cool
The blind man.... Sydney Blackmer. He played Roman Castevet in Rosemary's Baby.
I find that nosy old buggar annoying. I would hate someone grilling me like that.
Why was the ‘blind’ man pretending to be blind?
This goes to show you never try to get away with murder…😮 lol
I knew they wouldn’t get away with it, but the WHY!🫢🫢🫢🫢
