19:57 avoiding the nail upgrades is more for than just saving time from not doing so. The bosses scale with your nail arts so keeping the lowest nail art while upgrading the magic means that the magic damage to boss health ratio is greater
@@Fraxxxi not quite. Only specific bosses scale. I think it might be only the dream bosses because they wanted them to have the same difficulty regardless of what nail you have. So they wont be a harder relative to your current nail power but harder relative to previous nail power
@@lukostello they will be easier to relative nail power lo, their health scale but not as much as the nail damage, so they will still die much faster with max nail then old nail, BUT spells become less and less effective, and as spells literally destroy them uhm.

Great video! One recommendation though in terms of editing and presentation though. Can you guys NOT put the title of a runners current standing in record holding. It spoils the journey and story you're telling when comparing rivals. This has also been an issue for past speed docs. For example in this video when skurry speaks, his name and title of "Former world record holder for true ending NMG" comes up and spoils the end result, as well as when vysual speaks his title comes up as "Current WR holder for true ending NMG." Now im not saying to remove the title placing altogether, runners deserve recognition. However maybe a better alternative is to have a placeholder title then as the video shows the end result, change the title to an accurate description of their placing. Thanks for the content though!

Yeah, I agree with this. The history is so interesting and this was super well researched, but I was a little sad that 16 minutes into an hour video I already knew who ended up with the record. Not everyone watching these videos is going to know who holds the current record.

Why does this video act like fire and monstah are so amazing? "Fire is better than you at any%" and vysuals "is not a monstah, but..." Vysuals has gotten the WR so many times, yet this vid acts like fire and monstah are better.
I’ve tried so many times to like this game, but I just can’t do it. It has great art and atmosphere, the music is fantastic and I love metroidvanias. But I can’t stand the combat in this game. It feels awful and I hate how time stops briefly when you get hit. If only this game had a better combat system, I’m sure it’d be one of my favs.
