I've lived in Seattle all my life. I highly do not recommend coming here for a honeymoon. Seattle has now become a place where you visit for work or a conference-not a destination spot. It's expensive, most restaurants are not great, nor is the service. It's dirty and can be dangerous to walk around even during the day.
this vlog was posted during warmer months a year ago.... a lot has changed the past year!!

I been planning a trip to Seattle next year for my brother 39th birthday along with seeing Bruce Lee gravesite. I definitely have to stop to try to eat everything at Pike Place Market!
Awesome, we were actually shocked that there weren’t more places to eat at the market, lots of great spots to eat in the city though to make up for it

We have been to Seattle a couple of times and did a couple of your stops excluding your restaurant stops. We enjoyed other food choices. Pikes Market is always fun. The gum wall is a classic for Covid-19 carriers.😜 We enjoyed your choices and the variety of foods selected. Sadly, every time we toured Seattle, the weather was gloomy. Your trip knocked it out of the park.(Baseball Pun Intended) Enjoy the cruise to Alaska. Victoria, BC is our favorite place to explore while cruising north. Sooooo jealous of your cruise!!! Hope it was AMAZING. I normally don't like sweet wines but I love Chateau St. Michelle's Riesling. So tasty. Watching you walk on the glass floor turned my stomach...I once had a video shoot at the top of the Eiffel Tower at Paris and I froze. I literally crawled back into the elevator to get back to earth! LOL. Loved this video. So much to see in Seattle...Never been. Can't wait for your next video. Hope you got some good footage of the cruise!

Seattle looks great to go and visit and a lot of great restaurants eat to ,the food looks great,where you off too next,the waterfront looks great,great view’s from the merry go round,the shell fish had the right flavor ingredients and looked fresh

I love Chateau Ste. Michelle's winery! Their Chardonnay is my favorite! Have visited their winery several times.
If you're ever back in that area, visit Italianissimo Restaurant in Woodinville. I love their papparadelle pasta!

I've been to all the places you visited and they are all good but I would have taken you guys to breakfast at the dive bar The 5 point cafe which is next to Tillicum place cafe.

Thanks so much we stayed at Mayflower Park Hotel. It was downtown with easy walking distance to everything we did. Have fun!
The only seafood I got was at A restaurant named Ivar's. It was really good.
We had looked at Ivars and it definitely seems to have a bigger name - we went with Elliots since the reviews were better and in similar location so we got to watch the sunset on the pier. Thanks so much
On the Elliott’s receipt, does the Service Charge replace the tip or is it in addition to? Great vlog, really enjoyed it!
Thanks so much. Yes there was a service charge that is in place of the tip and was explained by our waiter when presenting us the bill

I live in Spokane. You have to try the spaghetti factory. It’s the most iconic restaurant there. Everyone remembers the spaghetti factory.
They don’t have the spaghetti factory in Seattle anymore. You have to go to Tukwila or Tacoma. It’s been gone for at least 5 years.

You all should swing up to the San Juan islands. That’s where I’m from. It’s a huge travel destination. It’s beautiful there.

@@JoshRachael we just got back from the encore. Big tip: if you want to avoid the noise at sinatra choose the patio. It’s really nice out there. We really enjoyed our meal.
What a whirlwind couple of days… I got full and need a nap just from watching!! For real tho, I’ve been nervous about going back to Seattle since the 2020 riots and protests wreaked havoc on the city (even tho it’s so close to me). This made me want to go back again. Thanks for the video!!
Haha I got tired editing this one - I can't believe we did so much in such a short amount of time. We like to fully take advantage of a city when we go since we don't know if/when we will every get back. I was nervous about the riots as well, no signs of issues with them but there is a large homeless population and you might even see a drug deal or two - yikes. Just be aware of your surroundings and we made sure to not stay out too late and stayed close to the hotel when it did get late.
What what’s the name of the restaurant that you guys eat in, the food looks really good
Guessing this is about the Dutch Babies? Tilikum Place Cafe was that one. Elliots Oyster House was our dinner. Beechers is where we had the grilled cheese. Taylor Shellfish Oyster Bar is where we ate before the Football Game.
Did you rent a car to get around Seattle? I’m still undecided if I should rent a car for my family. Is it cheaper to rent than to take Uber everywhere? We are staying 2 days before our Alaska cruise. How much is the parking in downtown Seattle?
We did not rent a car. We utilized ride share app and walked to the majority of places.
For us, we rarely rent a car, as we find ride shares or walking much more convenient!

Sorry we don't remember if we didn't say them in the video. We really only took an Uber from airport to the hotel, to the winery, and then to the cruise port, otherwise we walked the whole time - it was a lot
I visit Seattle from canada and having a car is pricey because of parking in the city.

@@JoshRachael Hey just rewatching this... man, bringing back many memories when I lived in Seattle, right at the foot of Queen Anne by the Seattle Center. There was a couple of summers where I was down at Pike Place day after day, just hanging out, there was a park near by, just laying in the sun. I'm tacoma south now, have taken my kids a few times... but nothing like living in a big city. I miss it.
