I'm planning to go in with 5 teams (better 5 weaker than 3 stronger ones is my idea for now) - Rangers (4x l57 g8 + Miri l35 g5) - I don't have Elrond so 3* Halbarad seems like a good lead for Elrohir and Elladan + Strider was my first g8. Miri might seem wasteful but I'd like to see how her Eagle Eye boon plays out in raid. In few PvPs I've attempted if it lands on Elrohir or Strider, I win against Elves. Isengard (5x l45 g6), Rohan (5x l40 g6) Mordor (5x l30 g4) and fELFowship (legolas lead, gimli, lomion, naremiri, arwen - all l35 g4) If resources allow it, I might bring Mordor to level35 and g5 maybe and adjust post first few raid attempts
I have been going hard on RtR, and i think their insane sustain will do well. Then I have full Isengard, Rohan 3 + IH and Halbarad, and a weak lvl 30 elves roster (no Elrond yet). The rest of my roster sits mostly untouched due to ridiculois resource bottlenecks.
Nurraz and Halbarchad tho. Nurraz summons poor man's IH and Halbarchad is almost always going to be highly geared as a really good (at least before the low * nerf) char.

I don't have Elron and I have only 6 characters at lvl 50 and above. I just don't have the gold (I am saving a bit for the future), I have twice as much XP as I have gold for leveĺing up. I just unlocked Halbarad, but I won't use him. My teams so far are: Full Elves (no Elrond, but 5* Legolas), full Isengard Orcs, full Rohan and (need to level up 2 characters) and full Mordor team. Probably need another team to put Strider in because of his AOE.
Is there any chance the orc that summons a troll could be good? Does the troll he summons scale with gear or level? If its level we might be able to level him up without as much gear, summon the troll for aoe, and let the orc die.
Pretty sure u should put all ur strongest chars into two teams… like elrond elladan elrohir ironhide strider and then Rohan 3 + ugluk manhur maybe. Pretty sure other teams won’t do much.

Am I the only one who didn't fully understand the incentive to get several teams if one can get 1 team that is better at everything Vs the other possible teams one can build? (or in other words: just put all the best characters in one team instead of spreading them) Is it that each Chapter will have several nodes, and you can only use a team in 1 node? Or that you cannot heal between nodes? I would appreciate if someone can explain exactly how this is supposed to happen in a dumb proof way :D Else I get a feeling that a team with members that have CP say < 2500 will be useless when one has characters in another team that have all members with CP say > 4500. But well, I am new to this type of game, so I may be completely wrong here ... Sorry if all this is confusing, but I am really that confused about the whole raid thing ...
Your teams will likely die no matter what, unless the g8 krakens pull off some crazy strats to do everything with one team. Regardless, we won't be able to do that. The ultimate question will be, how can I earn the most points? If all your points are team 1, then teams 2-5 won't earn many points at all. If teams 1-5 are more balanced, then you will earn less points, but it could end up being higher than one team could score. In the end, we don't know what will be the best because it isn't out yet.
How most raids go in SWGOH which I’m assuming will be the case here in HoME will be causing the most damage while trying to stay alive, teams like Rivendell and Isengard that have some of the strongest survivable aspects should do well as if you can weaken enough orcs to take out the bomber that will “potentially” take out the rest of the AI should earn you enough points to keep. In the new KDR raid on SWOH you have 5 battles that you can replay over and over again to earn as much points as possible. If you complete to max damage then you can increase the multipliers to make it harder but earn more points. Hopefully that information was helpful
The more this game continues the harder it is to like I will have maybe 3 teams and that's only cause I don't have gold. What is wrong with this developing team.

I'm completely f2p, running Isengard as my first team. Rohan as my second and road to Rivendell third.

Sam's looking very beefy at 7 stars, currently working my way through GJ 2-4 so Gold permitting will have 7 Star Pippen and 6 Star Sam pre-raid

@@Congerlive With the raid update they dropped the 6-star requirement for the Gardener's Journey and 2-4 doesn't require 7stars anymore

When I started I didn't know RTR were dog. So I've invested too much into them and they are my light team

It's means 5 attempts per encounter/battle per raid.
Once you bank an attempt thats all you can do with those characters.
Which lasts a week because each week we get a payout, correct?

Might be because I came from MSF, but they wanted 24 teams for arena and 50+ for Blitz, so 5 teams doesn't seem so bad to me lol
