Question 14, Option F should not be selected. Contributors can update the app that's associated with the workspace, if the workspace Admin delegates this permission to them. However, they CANNOT PUBLISH a new app or change who has permission to edit it. Please correct me if I am wrong!

Hi, im new to this and I’m wondering if u could share roughly how you studied for the exam and how difficult you found the exam to be?
I have question regarding Tableau/PowerBI.
I am trying to get the data analyst certificate (Microsoft) which is focus on using PowerBI to do ETL and datavis. As I go along with preparation materials, it seems that we can perform many techniques (cleaning for example) with R/Python. My question is why there are a lot of company need people to know PowerBI/Tableau. Of course, these two software are powerful for datavis/dashboard. I wonder how companies use PowerBI/Tableau.

Hi Minh, from my experience, my companies use it because you could run really easy the data cleaning and the data visualisations in the same tool. Dataviz from python libraries are not as user friendly to use and to set up, especially for drill down, and to publish (to publish to your users with python, I would need to have some support from IT service, whereas with power bi I just have click on publish and share the link)
This was very useful. I cleared DA 100 today.
Few questions were from these.

@@Melodies1st hi, I will suggest you to enroll for a good course which covers all the topics of syllabus. Do some hands on along with that (not necessarily everything, just to explore all the functions). This was most helpful for me.
55 question different sections. Fee around 5k, free if your org has tie up.
Read the data given and all the tabs properly for case studies. Even if you know the ans.

I do not agree that option A is correct.
"In some cases, you can set cross filter to single...."
This according to good practice is not correct.
We should never use the cross filter, unless very exceptionally and when we know that ambiguity will not be created.
This is like the opposite of the beginning of the phrase.

You have several reports and dashboards in a workspace.
You need to grant all organizational users read access to a dashboard and several reports.
Solution: You assign all the users the Viewer role to the workspace.
Does this meet the goal?
I think answer is NO, because that will give users access to all reports and dashboards. Requirement here is access to 1 dashboard. So correct answer is create azure active directory group and share what u need with the group. But everywhere I have looked says exact opposite. If the requirement is share everything, then yes viewer role, but to share a subset its not making sense to me to grant viewer role.
Can you please advise?
Also publish an app is also right answer because we can choose which content goes in an app, so if we want to share a subset, we only include that in the app and publish, but online research says publish app wont work in this case.

There is not much difference between pl-300 and da-100. Only a few topics removed and rearranged

PL-300 same as DA-100. There is only one certification for Power BI.
