At the end of the day, none of the toy makers give me 100% of what I want. McFarlane toys just tends to give me the least. I like the DC Multverse but the characters that I want are seldom produced. When they are produced, they are difficult to find. I wish there was an Injustice line of figures that covered the full roster of both games. That would be very welcome. I want New Gods, Doom Patrol, Teen Titans, The Legion of Doom, WildC.A.T.S or the Authority. I want to complete some teams without worrying about the multiple varients of other popular figures every month. I will gladly give the man my money if he lets me have something I want in return. 🤷🏽♂️
I'm personally not into this line, I prefer the multiverse as a McFarlane fan. But, I understand the appeal of this line for nostalgia and some figures do look cool. But, I myself prefer things like the new multiverse Mr freeze that is styled like the animated series Mr freeze and works for as an homage, that's what I like.
I bought the four pack and took it back because of money needs but I'm trying not to get sucked in but it is such it's own thing that I'm sooooo tempted amd like you said. It's nice to see every figure accessible and not to ridiculous to get.
I'm not a fan of the cell shading but it doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would, I'm all in on this line just for the quality alone, some of the dc collectibles versions are just tanks and sturdy as hell while others are just plain junk... I have 3 dc collectibles new Batman adventures Batman's and not a one of them have feet and I don't have a clue what happened to them his feet just disappear right out from under him and the joints just snap on every single figure! I'm enjoying this line mostly because I don't feel like I'm going to break them by looking at them... my biggest wish for this line is a new Batman adventures batmobile!
My biggest complaint with McFarlane... MF has such bad ADHD starting new lines and then moving away to something else. We'll probably get only one more wave if even that, I would totally bet. That said, I really hope he continues with this one.
