During a slow shift at work I spent about 20 minutes making the paper airplane of my life. On its maiden voyage, I managed to send it directly into my friend Casey’s only working eye. This dude was the size of Shrek, and I thought he was going to tear me apart, layer by layer, like so many onions of the past. Luckily it didn’t do any damage, and he got over it after a couple hours. Now we both live together in a swamp making and selling paper airplanes, and paper airplane goggles, that way we make money from both sides.
Cool video. I had a little trouble at the end with the last fold though. Also, I think it would help you use a different color paper. The white makes it really hard to see the creases.

This is an awesome tutorial. I've always loved making paper airplanes. When I was in first grade, my friend's dad had a book on paper airplanes, and I remember how much fun the neighborhood kids and I had that summer, making cool planes. This was in the seventies. I still love making them. Great work. I look forward to learning some more planes.

The POV was confusing. Having you working upside down from our perspective made it harder to follow than it needed to be. Filming it from our perspective, so that our movements are synchronous with yours as opposed to mirrored, would be more beneficial.

before you guys complain about this plane. 1. Learn how to throw a gilder properly ( just throw it lightly, use your wrists, read the description of mahir’s videos there’s throwing methods for all planes) 2. Try to check your creases or make them flatter ( use a spoon, hard card, or anything that can help you fold) 3. Use 0.75 or 0.5 playback speed if you want the video to be slower 4. Check the wind direction. Try to let wind give a boost from the back of the plane (if you’re outdoors) 5. Fold the plane precisely even out both sides this is why a spoon or card can help you get better creases. This is all you need to know.
So I live in a condominium complex, and since it’s an apartment, I flew it out the window, it did a boomerang thing and ALMOST flew back to me, but instead flew down and through the window of the person who lives below me. They came to my door and I was like “Crap, I’m so dead,” but when I opened the door, they said “Nice plane!”
