Now this video was a long time coming. I actually planned on making this video a long LONG time ago since the release of Super Mario Run. The plan was to compare Super Mario Run, after finding a way to play it in widescreen mode, with the original Sonic Runners, which was discontinued at the time but was still running on a custom server. However that server has also been discontinued so I was back to square. Then a few months later Gameloft announced Sonic Runners Adventure which was a sequel to Runners and I hopped on that game immediately before they were able to do anything to it.

More impressed by Sonic. Actual story mode gameplay, accelerating difficulty, inherently more difficult, plus the music is better.
Sega games are cumbersome, Nintendo games at least I can play with my grandfather or my nephew... and that's why Sega lost against Nintendo, their gameplay was perfect for an autorunner, and they prove me right with this, but yet mario runner got great mechanics, bonus, lots of different enemies, palette of animation(sonic animations are just simple boring, spin/dash), wall jumps and can be play without a headache.
Sonic runners got good musics tho, but again with the green hill zone remix music...
Sega in 2022 : they closed their arcade business and depend on hiring fans for making games because they lost their know-how but are well known for deviant art weirdness on Sonic, letting their mascot becoming a wh*-- to survive...

Super Mario Run is definitely better that Sonic Runners (Adventure). It give players a way to compete against other and has replay ability to it unlike Runners.

I have opinion:
- Sonic Runners Adventure has better graphics than Super Mario Run
- While running all Sonic Runners Adventure character is faster than all character in Super Mario Run
- Super Mario Run is good for newbie because while you making mistake (falling/get hit by enemies) your not gonna die/lost your coin
- In Super Mario Run you can get power up and use them by jumping under mystery box to release the power up and it's random
- Rather than Sonic Runners Adventure that you can buy power up in shop and you can only pick up 2 power up
That's my opinion

SONIC RUNNERS ADVENTURE IS BETTER THAN SUPER MARIO RUN (MY OPINION!).
Sonic runner was made before mario run but that's strange because i never hear somebody saying "hey there is going to be a sonic game in mobile phone" but at the opposite everybody (even my dad) was hyped cause of mario run.
Conclusion : nobody care about sonic, and everybody love mario

If I had to choose, let's see, both games have basic level themes. Music, that score goes to Mario Run, since the game have a few new remixes. Moves will be Mario again, he can jump, wall jump, and does little tricks, Sonic just jumps and that's it. Chatacters, they both win with their iconic seek tion of them. As for level design, Mario Runs feels more like a Mario game rather than Sonic Runners. Price, Sonic Runners take it since there isn't any microtransactions.
So, to tally everything up Mario Run gets a score of 5, while Sonic Runners gets a score of 3. Winner is Super Mario Run. Sonic Runners is a good game but I like Mario Run more.

You should check out the original sonic runners as that was much better than sonic runners adventure. Since that is gone you can download the revival version since there are no microtransactions.
