When you make these extreme jumps, let off the gas. At the most you can brake or blip a couple times while in the air but when it lands with power on you tear up alot of stuff and it can't be good on your motor/esc. Having said that, this was very entertaining and the links to your previous exploits really made this an epic video. I was sent here via Kevin Talbot. Thanks for the content! Hey, I'm experimenting with studded tires myself. I have a HPI Baja 5th scale gas powered RC car, which is rear wheel drive only. So when I drive on grass, it can be very slippery. Is there any reason you only put the studs in the center of the tires? Is this for driving on ice only, or do you also recommend this pattern for driving on slippery offroad conditions like wet grass? Do you do anything special to make sure the studs stay in the tire? Or do you just drill them in the rubber and hope for the best :)

I just can't fathom these set of circumstances being an Australian living in Sydney... yikes that's cold on a whole 7 levels beyond us softies. If there was ever an ad for the Traxxas X-Maxx 8S. This video would be it. What else is there? ..... Reckless abandon? Careful ownership? Just Send it mentality? I've watched this poor model put through All. Literally, there isn't an RC car that has conquered so much, endured so much and continually given their owners such huge smiles... beast in every way. Just a thought for you though… I have a similar launch ramp, but I use 2 cones to create a perfect path in front of my jump so I know if I make it through the 2 cones good, I'm lined up perfectly for my jump. Just a thought for you guys.. use it if you like. IT works well for me. KEEP BASHING!
