2021 charger widebody does come with “SRT” on the brakes! And with what everyone else has been saying, I think the cats are bigger on 21’s so they’re quieter
I have a 2020 challenger scat widebody. My friend liked it so much, he bought one. His is a 2021. When mine was stock, his was more quiet than mine. Really weird. Made him mad...lol! But now I have mid delete and reso delete and the dynomax mini race bullets,and it sounds freakin loud and deep.

It's subjective, but I like and own the Challenger 392 because it is a coupe, and looks similar to the original, they are both great muscle cars. The TF 8 Speed rules at the dragstrip, and on the street.

i test drove a charger earlier this year, and a challenger yesterday. The challenger handled a little bit better to me than the charger did, and even felt like it accelerated a tiny bit quicker than the charger. they were both r/t's tho so i dont know if that makes a difference. I will agree with you that the charger is definitely more comfortable on the inside. Im tryna get one of these cars in the next month or so, the charger is my first choice, but that challenger i drove felt good.

Charger will always acheive a deeper tone since there is more distance between the cats and xpipe, as well as between the mid muffs and rear resonators due to the 4 doors.

Not on the 15 to 18 both challenger & charger sounded exactly the same. It's in 19 & up they did something to the scatpack chargers exhaust.

@@TheVagitarian18 im not debating that only talking about sound. Go listen to the 15 to 18 charger & challenger scatpacks they both sounded exactly the same. Its in 2019 dodge changed something in the exhaust of the scatpack chargers. Just look it up & listen to a few clips or in person.

It’s all lifestyle. As for me I have a kid and another on the way so my Charger is perfect for family life. I couldn’t imagine trying to strap kids in and out of a two door.

I can't lie I kinda miss my charger but I have more fun in my challenger and it turns more head when I'm in traffic.
The 2021 challengers have a bigger catalytic converter than the previous years. That’s why they don’t sound as loud.

I prefer the narrow body challenger over the narrow body Charger but the widebody Charger over the widebody challenger
I bought a 2020 scatpack in 2020 with 3 miles on the dash...the next day I did a muffler delete...and I woke it up big time...but the factory wasn't bad either....but what I noticed mine has all 3 inch pipe...so to get it louder take all 2.5 piping out and go all 3 inch...hope that helps...
Also....my Challenger sounds less loud when inside the car. I have had people comment how loud it is when driving beside me, but to me from the cabin, it didn't seem that loud.

Charger has more leg room in the back. Front leg room on both is the same. 33 in for the challenger and 40 for the charger rear leg room.

Test drove a 21 challenger scat narrow body and it was way more muffled stock than my 19 RT charger when I got it. Didn’t even feel right lol. I 100% believe they did something to the exhaust for 2021+ challengers atleast

With 2021 charger and challenger 392 widebodies when you do a mid muffler (not resonator) do you lose gas mileage and back pressure ? I'm scared to do so because it's naturally aspirated and those cars need back pressure
Resonator for sure. Mid muffler is debatable but would be minimal IMO
Better off with car back exhaust though for sure

Wide body challenger scat shaker is where it’s at. Actually looks like modern muscle. The charger looks like some shit my wife would drive 🤣 don’t know wtf they were thinking, charger looks nothing like it’s original form and doesn’t look tough. You look at the evolution of the other muscle cars, mustang, camero, corvettes. They all kept the same look from their og models just a more modern style to them. Charger looks like your typical modern day family sedan. Muscle cars wasn’t just about the sound/power, it was the look also. But to each his own lol I just laugh every time I see one. Also challenger is more rare between the two. You’ll see way more Chargers on the road that’s for sure lol They really should’ve gave the modern(fraud) charger a different name.

I like the challenger myself….I own a challenger RT 100th anniversary. To me muscle is 2 doors and a V8 no shade to charger owners but of course we all know the OG Charger was a coup. don’t have to worry about passengers when you got a chally 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Nah Louie it’s not the emissions I have the 2021 widebody scat with the mid muffler deleted as well and mine sounds insane. It must be only the challengers or the people who did his muffler delete didn’t do a good job 😭 they both got the same engine specs there shouldn’t be a reason it sounds different with the same exhaust setup
You wrong bud, charger will always sound deeper since the 4 doors makes the distance between the cats and x-pipe longer as well as the distance betweeen mid muffs and rear resonators. Closer to the sound of a truck.

@@louiexiii91 ahh, gotcha. I will say I test drove a 2020 Charger widebody scat and it was super torquey. Then I test drove a 2021 and my one comment to the salesman was it felt slower. Way less torque especially at highway speeds. It was way different. Not sure if the used one was modded any or what not. But I still ordered a smokeshow widebody with satin hood and red interior on July 3rd. Suppose to be ready between Aug 26 and first week or sept

One major difference I have always noticed is the interior quality of the charger, way better than the challenger, even in a redeye hellcat challenger I found so much of loose unaligned trims, spaces and gaps between trim parts, left and right sides looks completely different, also the head liner front end towards the windshield, it has a gap as much as you can insert your hand 😀, while the charger has flawless very high quality finish, however still the challenger has a unique old school style, rather than that Charger is way better..
probably depends on the one you're looking at. 2020 challenger I looked at was 100% perfect in trim.
