فإذا كان الإنسان
ما أحسن الاستماع
إلى كلام الله
وإلى وحي الله
A person should listen to God's words
and revelations as a seeker of the truth
وإلى مدرسة الله
ما سمع سماع
to act on them and enter His school.
طالب فهم الحقيقة ليعمل بها.
بدك تسمع.
إذا طلع بلاغ للتموين
If the Ministry of Supply makes an announcement
that they will distribute sugar tomorrow,
بكرا بدهم يفرقوا سكر
لما بدك تسمع البلاغ
تسمعه سماع أيش بس سماع
لما للتطبيق؟
will people benefit in case they just
listen to it without implementation?
وإذا كنت جندي
والقيادة بلغتك قرار تقرئه
If a soldier gets an order from his officer,
is it enough for him to read it
وتسمع لمجرد القراءة والسماع
لما للتطبيق؟
or should he follow it?
يا ابني بدنا نكون عقلاء.
هاد كلام الله. هي قرارات الله
هي قوانين الله
We have to be rational when we deal with God's
words, decisions, laws and constitution i.e. the Quran.
ودستور الله
والله عقوبته عم يعاقب الأمم.
عم يعاقبنا نحن المسلمين نحنا العرب.
God is punishing the nations for violating His laws
and the Arabs and Muslims are no exception.
قضية فلسطين هي صار لها 40 سنة
كل العرب ورائهم فلسطين
The issue of Palestine has lasted for more
than 40 years although the Arabs backed it up.
شوا عملوا؟
ما عملوا شيء.
What did they achieve?
Nothing!
أما لو كان في إسلام حقيقي
لو كان الإسلام بجوهره وحقيقته
كان اليهود يجيئون؟
Were Muslims genuine, would the Israelis
or the British come to occupy Palestine?
بالأصل ما يحسنوا يجيئوا
لا هنن ولا الإنكليز إلى فلسطين
ولا فرنسا إلى سوريا
The French also wouldn't come to occupy
Syria or any Arab or Muslim country.
ولا يستعمرون بلد.
"ولن يجعل الله للكافرين
على المؤمنين سبيلا"
God says: "And never will Allah grant to the disbelievers a way (to triumph) over the believers."
فإذا صار لهم طريق ليستعمرونا
بنص القرآن نحنا مالنا مؤمنين.
So if the colonial powers colonized
any Muslim country, it means Muslims
ادعاء الإيمان مع فقد الإيمان
wouldn't be genuine believers.
والإيمان قول باللسان وعمل بالأركان
وعقيدة في القلب والجنان.
Faith is the statement of the tongue, acting on
the pillars of faith and the conviction of the heart.
ادعاء الإيمان من غير وجود حقيقته
هاد اسمه نفاق:
Claiming faith without having it
in reality is hypocrisy. God says:
"وكان حقا علينا نصر المؤمنين."
….and it was incumbent on Us
to support the believers."
أصحاب رسول الله
لما خالفوا أمر النبي مخالفة عسكرية
The companions of the Prophet were defeated in
the Battle of Uhud because some archers disobeyed
في أحد انهزموا
ولم يشفع فيهم
the Prophet's military order. Although the Prophet
was their leader, that didn't intercede for them
أن النبي قائدهم.
not to lose the battle.
نحنا الشيطان قائدنا
وأوامرنا كلها نأخذها من الشيطان.
Unfortunately, Satan is the leader of so many Muslims. They get their orders from him
لما الواحد يشرب عرق
والثاني يسمع المؤذن
when they drink wine or abstain from coming
to the mosque to pray despite them hearing
والجامع جنبه لا يؤذن.
"اذكروا الله كثيرا”
the caller for the prayer and they are
close to the mosque. God says:
لا يعرف لا قليلا ولا ذكرا كثيرا:
remember Allah abundantly."..."
"والذين هم عن اللغو معرضون"
لهوا لا ينفع ولا يضر.
Unfortunately, some Muslims don't do neither little
nor much dhikr. God says about the believers:
إذا كان في الآثام غارق
هاد إيمان؟ يا ابني بدك
"And those who turn away from vain talk."
A pastime which doesn't benefit or harm.
شيخ ما يعلمك.
بدك شيخ يعلمك
Is the one who is drowned in sins a believer?
You need a scholar to teach you the Quran,
ويزكيك ويعلمك الحكمة.
wisdom and to purify you.
نحنا بأزمة نتعلم الوضوء؟
في واحد فلاح لا يعرف أن يتوضأ؟
Is there a farmer who doesn't
know how to perform ablution?
بأزمة استقبال القبلة؟
في واحد ما يعرف
Are we in a crisis of learning ablution?
Is there any Muslim who doesn't know how
يدير وجهه على القبلة؟
to turn his/her face towards the Qiblah?
لكن قديش قد يلي ما يعرفون
يوجهون قلوبهم إلى قبلة القلوب
But how many Muslims know how to direct
their hearts to the Qiblah of the hearts i.e.
إلى رب العالمين؟
to the Lord of the worlds?
قديش يلي ما دخلت الحكمة
في عقولهم وفي حياتهم وتصرفاتهم
How many Muslims who don't have wisdom in
their minds, lives, actions, daily and religious life?
الحياتية الدينية والدنيوية؟
أكتر الناس فاقدين الحكمة يا ابني.
تزكية النفس وطهارتها
Unfortunately, most people lack wisdom and
the self-purification that qualifies them to reach
حتى تكون في قمة مكارم الأخلاق.
هاد هو الإسلام .
هذا هو القرآن
هذا هو الدين.
the highest of morals. This is what Islam is about.
This is what the Quran is. This is what religion is.
