I love him strumming the first note of the song and you can literally hear people trying to guess what song is it gonna be, and then the crowd grows to realization what song it is.
This was at center in the quare in kitchener. I was there. Front riw on the right. And was there the night before lindsy buckingham. Was plying and these guys here there so i went and talking to them. O reconised them . Very cool. Ive met so many great masters . Geddy lee . Phil x ive know scince i was 17. Ect. I could gp on for a long time . But i meed a beer and more tuns. Cheers
Amazing! Thank you! I just posted on one of the original videos-I am so glad this is up!!!!!! They are great!!!! Life is GREAT!!!!! I found their music 5 years after they came out and I am older than dirt. My neighbors and my DAUGHTERS whined about how loud I played it-I was like, really? Bite me! 😊
@@j.goebbels2134 Yeah the original line up was awesome!!! Now that I think about it I seen them 6 times, the first 4 was with the original lineup. I've played in several local bands and 1 of my ole band mates got to open for Collective Soul at Ziggy's in Greensboro NC and I got to meet the band and go on to their tour buss, it was awesome it had a fricn chandelier nicer than any chandelier I ever seen in someone's house!!! lol All the guys were super nice, I didn't get to speak to Will much because he was with 2 fine honeys and I wasn't about to try to but into their conversation. lol Ed is a super humble and very intelligent person. Yeah wish the original lineup could work things out!!! Ross was such a smooth player and Shane is a beast on the drums!!! ✌🏻
Literally he's just a facilitator at this point 😆 The crowd knows what they want and they're doing a bunch of it for themselves and he's just helping the process along

I never knew Mike Hall from Rust Valley Restorers fronted Collective Soul. 🤔
Fabulous band. Tickets in hand for the Lake Charles show coming up in February. Nice recording
I was front row center for this and witnessing Ed jump and dance just a few feet from your eyes is THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!
This show was just ok, they were much better when they had Master guitarist 🎸"Ross Childress 🎸.
What a lucky dude you are.
Exactly why I love these guys!
I just love them they rock it man thats always been my favorite band go ed. You just rock it. Out
I’ve seen them 9 or 10 times now. They NEVER disappoint!
This band was much better with Master Guitarist 🎸 " Ross Childress".
@@Miguel_2112 when the “master guitarist” Fs the head of the bands wife he wasn’t very good to begin with. He got what he deserved.
@@KL-er7yi happens all the time in music.
Doesn't change they were a better musically coordinated band.
Shine still....SHINES!
I like Ed he's my favorite he just rocks it out there and he puts a smile on my face I want them to come back so I can see them again
I just love this song I seen them in concert and I would love to see them back in concert they are my favorite band

Excelente
Great song, Riddler suit
It’s nice to see someone wearing different colored clothing other than black for once
Seen them 5 times, great band 🔥
You ever see the original lineup?
@@j.goebbels2134 Yes I seen them on their first tour at the Millennial center in Winston Salem NC. Awesome concert!!!
@@EJ-74 I can imagine. With Ross and Shane they were on fire. Wish they all could reconcile :(

How cool is that?

Thanks

Good God. Who’s in charge of Ed’s wardrobe ?
Shrooms
He can wear something like this.... he’s a rockstar... 😊
It's called personality
Yes.
It came from above....
❤️❤️❤️ 1996
🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩
Love c.s.but it's to bad he got so flamboyant he was so passionate and real when he sang run early on.
This band was never the same without Master Guitarist " Ross Childress"🎸. They were never as good without him .
Now they're just ok
Lili Pulitzer on steroids!
Is this the original lead singer from the Howard Stern performance? He looks a lot, lot different..
Yes original singer with band members.
Funk Howard Stern.
Collective Soul doesn't need no loser like Howard
Love CS, but geez Dean looks older than Ed.
Best CS song live is Where the River Flows.
There's literally teenagers on youtube who can play that solo better.
@@eligebrown8998 Maybe a little. But he never really copied Ross very well. No heart, no soul.
Who cares what they wear they have college degrees i just a used up truck driver
Great 90s band but as the 2000's rolled around they completely lost their way. Ed's voice doesn't sound very good here either.
I 100% agree. Now they're just ok
That's how you milk a song!
Poser
Why does he make a 3 minute song to like 6 minutes he lives off this song #1hitwonder
Morgan Parker.... you are 🗑
You really don't know their back catalogue. They have many many songs that were hits and got air play back in the day.
They’ve had several hits lol. You clearly don’t know Collective Soul
December, Gel, The world that I know, Precious Declaration, Heavy, Better Now, Counting the Days, Why pt 2 all did pretty well. And there were others.
@Billie Baxter yeah, it's kind of like bon Jovi is probably best known for living on a prayer, but they have a ton of others
