Amazing Sir... I am also doing PhD on shape optimization. I don't know if I can finish it or not coz presently I am in a very bad phase. But you are an inspiration. Thanks sir keep educating. Great work.

I know exactly what you mean when you are telling mit about the struggle. Keep on pushing - but also keep an eye on your limits. It will never be worth it, when you're left broken afterwards. I am happy to help where I can and if you just want to talk about your current situation, just drop me a mail at: ramsaier@rwu.de
Believe in yourself and your abilities and you will make it work eventually.
Thanks for the nice comment :)

@@ManuelRamsaier Sir I have sent you a mail regarding an error I am facing in hypermesh. Kindly help me in it.

@@ishanjha1492 Im on it :) Mesh distortion faili means you have elements which are highly skewed of distorted so that calculation is not possible - remesh and check your mesh - this should resolve your error. I will check the model file and get back to you via mail. Thanks for reaching out :)

Good work! Referring to your outlook (view): another idea would be to use pattern recognition algorithm (e.g. a trained neural network) to extract different topologies of the clustered structure, rather than just using beams. What do you think about that idea? Or are there maybe papers on that already?

Their is a whoe research group with theses sort of questions in mind. They also try to speed up the process of the optimization by using a Neural Net. Regarding reconstruction, artificial intelligence can be used as well as (also) physics related criteria like higher moments or shape dna. The problem of this pattern matching problem is the gernative nature of the process. you can imagine every topology and shape and have to detect it. In my view its not possible if you do not seperate before and then try to recognize the different parts. Lets have a discussion about this :) If you want just drop me a mail at: ramsasier@rwu.de
      All the best :)

After having read twice your name again... :-D :-D Simon!!! Lets rather have a talk or a beer the next time, its possible. I can remember when we sat in Ravensburg and thought about possible PhD topics :-)
