Amazing song.
Arturo Albarran it's on his album 'Go Makai' it's extremely rare but it does exist. It's the same album that "Aloha Ke Akua" piano version is from. It's my favorite album of his, its a lot of just him on a piano, it's raw and beautiful. Maybe they'll release it someday...
Am I the only one who returns again and again to these older Nahko & MFTP Videos and becomes emotional reading the comments we were all making before the spring of 2020 when the world seemed to have lost it's mind and heart ? asking for a friend

Please know that your presence on this wall, is like a plague. Reading these mockering after reading such a beautiful comment, it's painful and has no utility else than bringing sadness. It's just disapointing having such mentality around here..If doing so strives you to be a better person or just makes you feel better, so be it and may life be clement with you as we all know how similar to a Boomerang it can be :)

You can download the mp3s from any RUclips video. Its frikkin great!! I have an amazing playlist of live music and videos music you can't buy anywhere. I would love to purchase them, but you can't. So I download them from some different apps/sites. You used to be able to type the word 'magic' between the words 'You' and 'Tube' in the web address bar of what ever video/song you want. Obviously you can't be on the app. Had to be internet page RUclips. Might still be active. But I use a different site now, www.flvto.biz/fr/ it's a French site, and I'm sure there are viruses and what not. But my android is flawless years later. Hope this helps

I dont comment much on what I watch in RUclips, but Nahko my man...this song made me realize how scared I am when I first felt love and now I feel it was all worth it. First time i heard Nahko and mftp was last year, when they opened for a dispatch concert. We were stage side, within touching distance and the energy i felt coming off their stage was unimaginable. He has a unique voice that feels like hes singing to you, even in a crowded audience

when I was five years old I was blessed by this very song. I lived on 16th street Boise, Idaho. 1988. She was a piano teacher. My best friend Erica Fortier and myself used to visit her. we would sing praises. one day she sang Medicine for The People. I can remember when she said "Shit" I looked at my friend like oh my did she just.. then she said it again and I knew what she was singing was serious. by the end of the song my spirit was dancing with hers and Our FatherGod and Mother Earth atop her piano. it was amazing. I remember seeing this years ago, probably when it first came out, then it was deleted for a bit? I love the feeling the remembering that you Bear give with your music, not just the words or your voice but the beauty in your music the sounds of love and hope. Forever grateful for the gift your music gives my life.

If its okay to share, I have to get this out of my system. I have such mixed feelings rewatching this. Nahko’s music has always been my go- to favourite healing music. I can’t even describe the positive transformations that radiates from his songs. He moves people to the core and the soul- this session in particular was my most loved piece (like, literally listened to on repeat a million times) for the acoustic and lyrical purity and its inimitable qualities.
Unfortunately now when I watch the behaviour at the end of the video, he doesn’t seem so innocent anymore and sheds light to the dark revelations last year. I get mixed feelings of trust and really want to keep believing. I dno if anyone else feels the same.
I hope you are healing with strength and dignity Nahko, “I love you just the same” - undeniably! and pray that the trust can be rebuilt.

I FARCKING LOVE this version, of that song, exactly how it is in this video, especially with the first 2 & a half minutes of the track, it makes it more, one, involving. Kinda that oneness feeling. Its perfection,! Idk If it's the piano or maybe perhaps just the ambience of the setting how sounds bounce of the lobby walls ! Or maybe I'm just a sap for an astounding voice, and piano, kinda acoustics type song.
