That is because .. Socks folding is an essential skill ... The more organized you are in your wardrobe & other chores ... the more organized you are in your brain.
The last one is the one that my parents have always done, but I like space saving, so I go with the roll method and the square method. If you wear ankle socks like I do, I recommend the roll method.
The square and the roll we're really the ones I have been really adapting to lately. Thanks for the tutorial, really helps my cabinet filled with socks stay organized ❤️
In case anyone is looking at ways to fold socks for the same purpose that I am, the folds that survived retrieves from my service dog best were the square method and the military method. She was able to bring me both socks in one retrieve and they were easier for her to carry.
In Belgium most people use a variation on the last method: lay the 2 socks on eachother, fold them together in half from the heel point. After, flip one whole sock with the other one inside it inside out. It's a pretty flat rectangle. And it's super fast.
Best for last. This works enough for me as I keep my sock drawer and dresser in my closet. I just need to be able to open the drawer and grab a matched pair of socks
Your video is also very useful. It helped me a lot. I bought 20 smaconsum before. They bought a few more. They were still worried about not having a place to put them
I came up with the "fold & tuck method" (#5) on my own, except I fold the top sock in 3rds, then fold the bottom sock's cuff over the top sock & tuck the bottom sock's toes into the cuff (like in the video). It's a little easier to tuck one toe instead of both. I like a neat square (or square-ish) shape, so for longer socks like the ones in the video or longer, I just fold the top sock into a square, & place it closer to the cuff of the sock underneath (but leave enough room so the cuff can fold up on top, like in the video). Then for bottom sock's toe, just fold the toe end over itself before tucking into the cuff. For longer socks, I fold the bottom sock's toe all the way underneath the top sock, then tuck the toe end's now-folded side into the cuff. (And for super-long socks I fold it all the way underneath the top sock, then fold it in half before tucking into the cuff.) I like how they stack neatly in the drawer & I can group similar socks in the same stack, so it's easy to find the ones I want. They also don't fall apart when moved around, so it's great for packing a bag for a trip.
Ooh I didn't know there were so many ways :0 I'm surprised the one I got taught wasn't even in there idk if that's a bad sign 😂 just one sock inside out, one normal; fold them in half on top of each other with the inside out one on the outside then invert it
When my 4 sons were young I bought a lot of diaper pins for them to pin the toes of socks together. When they and my husband take them off they keep the pin to put on when they put the socks in the dirty clothes. They didn't mind and I never had to match socks again. They are now grown and still pin the socks together to wash them.
1. square 0:30 slow but pretty and recognizable 2. single-fold 3. roll 4. millitary 3:11 fast but ugly and NOT recognizable 5. fold and tuck 4:04 great for stacking and recognizable 6. flip and tuck 4:53 fast but a bit ugly and recognizable(favorite)
I've always done method #6, Flip & Tuck for my no-show athletic socks, which I wear in the summer. To my surprise, when I took the cotton ones out of the drawer this spring I discovered that the tops had stretched out of shape over the winter and now the socks crawl down into my sneakers when I walk. From now on, I'm going to use clothespins to keep the matching socks together in the drawer.
I do #5 the Fold and Tuck, it’s fast easy and aesthetically appealing and space saving. This method when compared to #1 square method, seems to be much faster with similar results. The 1# method had too many tucks and folds and took 1 minute for them to complete and #5 took 20 seconds. Of course, it’s slowed down for the presentation and at home it should take less time than that.
I never have a problem looking for matching socks, a problem I used to have. I solved the problem by getting any new socks in the same color and brand. I've finally reached the point that I have only all matching white or black socks. I simply stack them in two piles and pick up the top two on a stack when dressing.
Thank you for the video. However my gf has this amazing method keeps them very tidy, like in a store, never causes a stretch in the cuffs and great space saver. I just filmed it but I don’t know how to post here though. Please inbox me if you want me to share it with you or something.
why do the ones in the video the gold checkered socks look better than the ones on the website you should make socks in that pattern but like a peachypink light yellow and with black bottom and heels you should do pastel ones as wells what i mean is do the same pattern but different colors as well make it fun compression socks are good to so i would love the checkered sock to have a compression sock pair as well
Adulthood sneaks up on you. In one moment you're young and hip and suddenly you're watching socks folding tutorial.

That is because .. Socks folding is an essential skill ... The more organized you are in your wardrobe & other chores ... the more organized you are in your brain.
Hi @waob7157 could I ask where you got your Mercedes Benz logo please and thank you
The last one is the one that my parents have always done, but I like space saving, so I go with the roll method and the square method. If you wear ankle socks like I do, I recommend the roll method.
Same dude
I used the first method to pack a gift of socks for someone and the presentation made them look really lovely. Thank you for sharing!
Nice tips. Thank you! 🙂
I like the square fold method. Awesome! Thx for sharing & at a pace that can be followed!!!
I love the Not stretching the cuff!
Very creative and useful methods ❤ thanks 🙏

I like the 5th method. Its easy for me. TKS 4 sharing.
Me too. They are all good but the 5th one is very easy to remember and not at all time consuming.🙂

it
I like the first one
No. 6 is the one I've always done. I shall try some of the other methods for a change. Thank you for great ideas.
The Military method is great for traveling. Thanks for these wonderful methods on how to save space and to stay organized.
The square and the roll we're really the ones I have been really adapting to lately. Thanks for the tutorial, really helps my cabinet filled with socks stay organized ❤️
Square and Military worked best for me!
In case anyone is looking at ways to fold socks for the same purpose that I am, the folds that survived retrieves from my service dog best were the square method and the military method. She was able to bring me both socks in one retrieve and they were easier for her to carry.
I like the fold and tuck method.
It's the last one for me 😁 Like the yellow socks 💛 Thank you for the lessons.
Love the military suggestion..!
Thank u so much

My method too. Hi from Greece 🙂
Same here in Switzerland
I like 1. but it's too time-consuming, so 5. will do! 😂👍
First method is very good
Best for last. This works enough for me as I keep my sock drawer and dresser in my closet. I just need to be able to open the drawer and grab a matched pair of socks
What a fabulous video! Love your sock collection too. ☺️
Your video is also very useful. It helped me a lot. I bought 20 smaconsum before. They bought a few more. They were still worried about not having a place to put them
I searched for “Smaconsum” on Google, and I liked the texture and price
Nice & clean explanation!! Thank you!

I’ll agree on the 5th method.

I find the 5th method is the best
Thank you!
Ooh I didn't know there were so many ways :0 I'm surprised the one I got taught wasn't even in there idk if that's a bad sign 😂 just one sock inside out, one normal; fold them in half on top of each other with the inside out one on the outside then invert it
Fold and tuck gang where you at?
I do the military method... Time to try another method
I’ve been doing number 6 my whole life, i didn’t even know there were other methods. Instead of halfway, I do it about 3/4
Amen 😂
I use the last method as it's the quickest. I think I am "get over with that work" kind of a person.
Great socks! thanks for your video!
Gonna try 1 and 5 for drawer, been doing 6 all this time
I've always done the last one but, take it down till no toes are dangling out...
#5 love it - thx!
I like the military method
i did all but just number 5 works and is easy
Nice for long socks, but best way for crew socks..
This definitely helped me sort out my socks blunders
😮 wow instresting
¡Thank you very much! It is very functional and has served me perfectly.
3:06 Oh, the Military Method-because clearly, folding socks like a soldier is the one skill every bachelor absolutely needs in life.
im starting socks little business this helped me, thank you!

Glad there are people like me
The 5th one was more comfy in my pov
omg, I loved this, thanks!
1. square 0:30 slow but pretty and recognizable
2. single-fold
3. roll
4. millitary 3:11 fast but ugly and NOT recognizable
5. fold and tuck 4:04 great for stacking and recognizable
6. flip and tuck 4:53 fast but a bit ugly and recognizable(favorite)
Thank you.
Thank you
Oh, I do the military roll. Interesting. Works well for short ankle socks
That just adds stretch to the cuff. I prefer the fold over method.
Thanks! I go for method number 5..
Great ways, however I wish there were examples for short ankle athletic socks...
I've always done method #6, Flip & Tuck for my no-show athletic socks, which I wear in the summer. The 1st method is the best for me - thx
Very awesome colors
okayyyyy... anyone waiting for the smaller socks?
Facts, I went with the one at 3:56 aka number 4
Yes😭
I just put one sock into the other. No stretching long ones at the tops. Small socks are easy to lay and see.
Me😂
Military method worked for mine
everyone is talking about adulthood but i’m 19 watching these 😭
I’m 13 😳😂
Me being 10 ;-; I-
Good that's when u should be learning all this

19 is adulthood!! Am i wrong? o.0
Very helpful. Thank you!
Thanks, now I can save more space!!
Impressive ways to fold the socks. Like it.
Thanks for the video i learnt the best way to fold socks
Any suggestions for folding pairs of thin knee-length stockings? 😵💫
I put my socks inside of each other. I saw it when I bought some socks at a store years ago
I am really thankful
so far 5 is the best
I do #5 the Fold and Tuck, it’s fast easy and aesthetically appealing and space saving. This method when compared to #1 square method, seems to be much faster with similar results. #7, roll one sock, stuff in the other sock. Leave as is or fold to make it neat.
Genius. (Cross method for me). 🙏 ❤
Good idea
This is a good idea
I like the 1st method, but since I use sweat socks(Hanes crew) leave the heel out and they still fold pretty good, just not as "pretty"😉
last one is goated
Thank you ... 🌹
Good idea.............💕💕💕
Nice i wanna try this
I never have a problem looking for matching socks, a problem I used to have. I solved the problem by getting any new socks in the same color and brand. I've finally reached the point that I have only all matching white or black socks. I simply stack them in two piles and pick up the top two on a stack when dressing.
I use the #6 method but I tuck the toes into the tube after

You can post it on your own RUclips channel, then share the link to your video in the comments.
