exactly, we also thought its a game that could have been perfect on ps2,with some tweaks and 30 fps.Would be cool to get a ps2 boxart and put a disc in it,(if they get a disc version
You must not know Capcom at all then. Even amongst all the rancid so called "fans" they have, they have ALWAYS been one of the few, if not only, big dev companies that have taken on unique projects and let their development team bring up different ideas for games. Their most recent title thats not a triple a game, before this one, is called "Shinsekai: Into the Depths". They release behind the scenes and developer diaries of these games and what are all the comments filled of in EACH of these videos? "Pls pls pls GiVe uS m0re Resident evil, m0re monster hunter, remake this, remake that". I want everyone that has ever said "gaming is dying" to know that it's quite literally never been the fault of dev companies who kill videogames, but the brainrot consumers have always been the ultimate decision makers on what the future of videogames ends up being and those constant type of comments should tell you, it's through your own ignorance that these types of games can never flourish or see the light of day at times. Expand your tastes people and try to always be curious when games like this come out.
It's a treat to see the modern and classical art & entertainment come together and collaborate like this; I especially enjoyed the inclusion of a digital backdrop behind traditional dolls and kuroko stagehands. I really do hope this game does well and encourages more projects like these!
and now Thanks to the power of social media platforms and their companies the art of Bunraku puppet theater 🎭 are now officially on public not only in Japan but the whole world
This was so cool, I've never really seen a Japanese theatre show let alone one for a video game! What an incredible collaboration! Even more excited for the game than I already was!
What a fantastic display. Absolutely loving the game and am beyond grateful to be introduced to the cultural artform of Bunraku. Thank you for your dedication to everyone involved in this and the game. It is also a masterpiece and probably my pick for game of the year. Capcom showing other devs how it's done. Now if only they would bring back a certain blue bomber and maybe get him off the moon.
Man, I love this! I only knew of this video's existence after finishing Kunitsu-Gami and starting my NG+ run. I seriously love the game and how unique its theme is. I truly hope they make more games like this.
Very interesting choice for promotion on this game, particularly instead of a typical over the top tie in anime short or web comic skit, they went with a bunraku play scene👏
Good performance, I love how intricate the banraku puppets are especially the hannya's retractible horns. Capcom is one of the last companies I'd expect this kind of marketing from.
>Good performance, I love how intricate the banraku puppets are especially the hannya's retractible horns. This is super cool and the translation was great and im excited to play this game this weekend and the puppets were really sick I mean what else is there to say really. Thank you capcomp
Okay, the line "A figure runs across the bridge between the heavens and the earth. Oh, a messenger of the Deity has come!" is an incredibly badass way to introduce a character.
it's awesome to see something this unique done for a game promo. An ancient art form being used to make a prequel bit for the game itself... absolutely amazing
Beautiful and amazing Bunraku (puppet) show/performance. Have never seen such unique male swordsman character with the design and usually see it as traditional puppets. Great cultural showcase takes of Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess game. Now lets see if CAPCOM can do one for Monster Hunter Wilds in Bunraku style!
We need more games like Kunitsugami coming from big publishers nowadays, i also wish that this game has enough success to motivate Capcom to revive Okami.
Good one Capcom, ironic how the lyrics are related to your practices. To National Bunraku Theatre members and staff, impressive performance, I will definitely visit when I go to Japan.
Seandainya dibikin live action versi teater pasti banyak yg nonton. Selain bisa untuk promosi game-nya, sekalian memperkenalkan kebudayaan ke mancanegara ♥️♥️
At first I'm like they don't care about this game, its just some directors dream game they let them make due to doing a good job on a bigger game. But those games don't get this sort of budget to advertise like this.
This game is so special. You guys have no idea the magic you've made. I sincerely hope you're all proud of what you've created. This is playable art. An experience.
you know what's even crazier this whole thing is completely unnecessary but they did it anyway. they could even done a stylized trailer or short musical sting but no we got this.
The puppet aren't moving by themselves. As you can see in the behind of the puppets, they were played by black caped stage men known as Kuroko as if the puppeteers are invisible.
This is freaking awesome. This is how I know those anti DEI guys are audience captured. They spend all their time complaining about “woke” games, and no time celebrating games like this that deserve so much more attention than bad games. Incredible, Capcom. I love this studio.
Good. Now... *Viewtiful Joe 3* . Come on, CAPCOM, don't be stupid, you have finally started doing things right... Come on. *Viewtiful Joe 3* . Hideki Kamiya is literally job-less. Get him and make *Viewtiful Joe 3* . Alright. Go.
@@bakutie Well about the game known as Dead Rising Remastered, Take a look at what they censored since they wanted Tencent’s money. ruclips.net/video/vooV3eR0HIg/видео.htmlfeature=shared
This feels like PS2 era Capcom and I'm all here for it. This game was WAYYYYY better than I expected it to be.
exactly, we also thought its a game that could have been perfect on ps2,with some tweaks and 30 fps.Would be cool to get a ps2 boxart and put a disc in it,(if they get a disc version
This play is so cool, and it's also cool that a popular game dev is willing to take artistic risks like this. Really excited for Kunitsu-Gami.

That is the most unique PR ever done so far.
It's a treat to see the modern and classical art & entertainment come together and collaborate like this; I especially enjoyed the inclusion of a digital backdrop behind traditional dolls and kuroko stagehands. I really do hope this game does well and encourages more projects like these!
I bet they've use a green screen for background graphics like Assassin's Creed Lineage over a decade ago
The digital background was a good idea, I agree
Soh's doll has so much detail that I got impressed. Amazing work from everyone involved!
The fact they took the time to make the demon's head have horns and eyes change for all but a few seconds is fantasic
This was interesting, so was the demo. I like seeing big AAA companies trying to make something different instead of sequel after sequel. Good stuff.
Holy, how did they pull this off? I mean, the art of Bunraku is centuries old... it's crazy they are so flexible to collaborate with games.
History art meets contemporary art. The only reason this has happened is something to celebrate. This is beautiful.
The game is telling a story based off their mythological cultural heritage, that's why.
and now Thanks to the power of social media platforms and their companies the art of Bunraku puppet theater 🎭 are now officially on public not only in Japan but the whole world
Bruh, if they put up this live action Kabuki/Bunraku puppet show in the US, I'd pay money for tickets to go see it
same!
me too
I hope this game sees lots of success. The demo was genuinely fun and we need more creative media like this.
Agreed. Despite having game pass I bought it on Steam, I want them to make money with this game.
This was so cool, I've never really seen a Japanese theatre show let alone one for a video game! What an incredible collaboration! Even more excited for the game than I already was!
It speaks to the skill of the art itself how easily the puppeters are hidden, so you only focus on what is being said and the delicate movements.

I thought I was just going to play this in the background, but then I stopped everything I was doing to watch. Really good!
That is super interesting. I hope the game does well. I’ll be playing tomorrow

Capcom truly is in its new Golden Age.
this is an amazing treat! um, Street Fighter 6 Kabuki performance next please???
Wow it’s crazy that I haven’t seen this promoted as much, this is amazing and crazy you manage to pull off a production like this.
Thank you Capcom for trying to create new IPs once again. Please continue making more

Each arm controlled by a different person, that's incredible coordination
yeah they have to spend 10 years of practice on each part (feet, left arm and finally right arm)
This is my first exposure to Bunraku, very captivating!
