As a pure zoodiac player now that Drident is banned I might as well take a break.
They won’t ban a card after first print unless it’s insanely broken and causes infinite loops/ insta games. Zeus isn’t even that great. He’s useful but not overly broken

@@TobikunOuO It really hasn't. For some build of the deck, yes. But Dragon Link has so many variants like Dragunity that have there own extenders, not to mention the endless amount of generic Dragon support that Yugioh has to offer
Actually those hits mean that dragon links end board is weaker to handtraps and it recovery is garbage now

I have never been so angry at a banlist, until I saw engage come back.
Engage is ok at 1.

I finally started yugioh in 2019, and was told a good and competitive deck to learn was sky striker. I got about 10 of the cards and finally one copy of engage, little did I know it would be banned a day later. So for the past 3 years i slowly grew my collection, running unchained live twins and gathering more unwanted skystriker links and spells that had been tossed aside. And now. I'm the one laughing.

At this point I'm convinced Konami playtested Electrumite and came up with a Trif-like super Pendulum list 40 negates through any interruption and we have no idea what we would unleash on this mortal plane by having Electrum unbanned

@@GreyVictory1510 nah most semi-competitive or just not meme decks are able to out a single dragoon, but probably/maybe not also win in that turn. What gets me tight is ppl that run 3 dragoons and verdas so they just bring him back the next turn. I would have preferred just a dragoon ban so people could still use verda and be creative.
@ScalphaDubs Don't forget that Magicalised Fusion is a thing, you can end up being able to summon 2 dragoon at the price of only playing one more garnet

When somebody sees Engage to 1, you either pop off as a Sky Striker loyalist since 2019, or you're Farfa.

Zoodiac lost Drident and Cyclops because now you have no one turn combo to get to it. Pure zoodiac is dead, and only Zues pass exists anymore as a "combo".
