Thank you for your video, but can you please try and provide a sample where you actually update values of a table for an existing xlsm file?

Yes you can. You need to use "Send Keys" to get to the macros and run it

Why cant microsoft make anything work out of the box - Could not retrieve values. Value segment type 'literal' expression '' invalid. Only literal segment types may be used - is what i get when trying to select the table

      sharepoint.stackexchange.com/questions/298291/why-cant-i-select-the-table-from-an-excel-file-in-a-new-flow does this help?

Or this "If you open the excel file and select your data, then select "Format as Table" in the ribbon, it resolves it."

If not, try to create a simplest test flow with just and use a new macro file and see whether it works for you. And then use your existing macro file and see what happen. Work thru the problem slowly using process of elimination
