Thanks for the recent review. The KE’s available for about 75% of the original price lately and at that level I think it’s a really good value. Top tip for all printers, make sure your first layer is good before zoning-out from watching your machine. My trusty KE had a recent bed adhesion fail that made a horrible mess of my hot end. This type of failure can happen on all printers and a good first layer tends to indicate you’re in the clear.
My V3 KE Printer arrived with a faulty CR-Touch sensor. Took a month to resolve that. 8 weeks later the Y limit switch failure and no response from support. Bed must also be warped beyond what auto-levelling can cope with, as it kept burying the nozzle and wound up coating the hot-end in melted filament (and filled the sock). Going for a high-end (non-Creality) printer next. Really appalled at Creality customer service.
I had few problems and they sent me new parts... but it i huge downtime as they answer 1 time per 2 days on average during 7 days week ... But ... when i fixed everything (i had blob of death 2 times) printer really works well it prints high quality and when you tune it thats it! But build quality is so so ... but again it works! For 200 euros it is fine deal and it can be cheaper
@@donmarkon 4 days and still no reply from Creality to multiple requests. As for print quality, it likely varies from batch to batch. Perhaps mine was made on a Friday afternoon? 😀 When it worked, mine was wildly inconsistent after tuning. I could not print anything other than single small parts (and I have the enclosure). Was a very frustrating experience as my old basic Ender-3s gave better results (I have 3).
