He maybe talks as a adult but his beliefs on how often this does happen are way off. He should maybe examine FBI numbers before making thised kind of comment. It does happen but not as much as he tries to say it does. One time is too many but it is not like a every day thing. Maybe he means just in Canada

American Crime (Indiana high school version) is one of the most dynamic and brilliant pieces of work that I've seen. The cast is golden, especially this young man. Not only is he articulated in his ability and words, his moments that have no dialogue are epic. Bravo.
How can you not fall in "love" with Connor, the young man, and the two characters I've seen, Skating to New York and Closet Monster. I'm looking forward to American Crime.
His childhood fantasy of having hands that could change into anything- upon listening to this interview, his grasp of the world and things around him, seems clear that he has an overwhelming innate drive to "have all the tools" in any situation, in any field of endeavour, to make an impact. I'd say he is well on his way!

His performance particularly in Episode 7....WOW! When he sat there in that diner booth with the gun in his hand, you could sense life and spirit just completely drained from him. It's been a long time since a scene moved me to tears like this one. It actually had me reconsidering teens who lash out violently in schools.
This guy is so charming and such a good actor for his age, I loved this film, common Disney turn him into the human torch or an X-Men, maybe the new Iceman heck even spyclops.
Can only repeat what's already been said about how wonderfully articulate he is without using any of the pretensions cliches about "craft" and "choices." And he has an impressive "active" vocabulary . . . not a lot of "special" intellectual words you feel he has to dredge up to showcase his intellect. And of course he has a beautiful vulnerable quality without appearing weak. I think he could profit from a "little" time in the gym --without going for the unnatural, cookie-cutter "ripped" look all the other actors go for; his arms look too soft to me.
