Brilliant and thank you for sharing. This brought back many fond memories as Saturday night my Dad would let me watch MOTD in bed on an old black and white tele.
No fancy studio , no endless parade of ex players waffling om , and not just showing the big clubs first , Which Wolves were to become in the early 70's . And it wasn't it more fun to see teams from the lower leagues , not just the top Division
...not only far more enthusiastic soccer compared to today ( - didn't Johnny Haynes make the newspaper headlines round about than as his wages went up to £100 a week..?) - the cameraman was that good the viewer wasn't even aware of him..!
Well, that was poor stuff. Plenty of midfield exchanges but poor end product, little quality in the penalty area. Crosses coming in but too close to the keeper and centre backs. Maybe more 1-2's in and around the penalty area could have carved out some clear chances.
What a joy to hear this commentary no histrionics, no shouting, no over opinionated pundits. Ah!

Great memories! Dave Burnside went on to play for Wolves a couple of years later!
And Terry Wharton went on to play for Palace in the early seventies.
Didn't Derek Kevan go to the Baggies . . ?
Difficult picking out the Teams in Black and White. Especially as Wolves ditched the Black Shorts in that Period.

Wolves were a 'big' club well before the Seventies arrived!!!
Strange seeing molineux with connected stands all around the pitch. Love to see that again one day.
14th goal of the season for Knowlsey...what a loss he was....😩

(...er...'round about THEN'...) - and virtually no back-passes compared to today..!
Haha love how the keepers like to give the ball a bounce before booting it upfield
I guess it's pretty off topic but do anybody know a good website to stream new tv shows online ?
@Emanuel Isaac i dunno I use flixportal. Just google after it:) -koa
No time wasting at throw ins or goal kicks no screaming or rolling over as if they’ve been shot just two teams going at it.
The rule for goalies was that they had to bounce the ball every four steps at least

Good Wolves side
Crowds in this era seemed to be quite sedate and polite, not much chanting or singing.
Next time palace get a team coach lol
A great Story tho 😄😄
