Im an oldhead one-hander, resistant to the two handed style. BUT, one time I open bowled two handed, and once I figured out the footwork I was able to pure a few shots and realized I might actually be capable of pulling off the switch. However, it would take practice AND I still think there's no better feeling than puring a one-handed thumb in release.
I don’t know what it is, but you look a lot more natural when you throw two hands compared to one like you’re not trying as much I guess what I’m trying to get at is you look like a natural two hander
I bowled one hand no thumb back in the 1990s. After 20 years away, I started back with my thumb in with not much success. Went back to no thumb and have been bowling tournaments for 2 months now with more success.
Sr bowler here. When I get frustrated with my progress, I get out my six pound Mix I got for a six pound tournament and throw a bunch of games. I can average around a buck fifty with it one handed no thumb. Thing is, it helps me identify problems with mechanics and alignment.. it's merciless with stupid carry issues.. but it's fun as all get out. It renews my perspective and attitude and keeps me tuned up for the next time that tournament rolls around. I totally get your point about why you mess with this.
I would always be interested in improving or even tweaking my gameplay. And I will at some point, as soon as I manage to stabilize a little more on my upward score.
You are the best example to me to see and try to improve every day. Keep up the good work Mikey and I wish from the bottom of my heart that all goes well for you!! 🎳🔥💪
I tried 2 handed, and it is much harder to be accurate for me. My revs did increase but I struggled to match my line and revs, because both were inconsistent, but man when I lucked into a nice shot, it was a thing of beauty.

You have a great athletic move through the shot two handed... it might also save a ton of wear and tear on the money arm =).
Cant see how this would hurt your one hand game sense its off the hook anyway! Keep growing man!
where'd you get that sick jersey?
Zealo great!!! Use promo code toetap119 to get 10% off!
Youre probably the one person to lose rev rate going 2 handed lol
Mikey Tang bowled 2-hand last summer. He lost revs too.
the 2 handed carry is insane
reverse osku moment
What a stud.
Good try. Only criticism I have is turn down the music when you are talking haha
You bowl like osku kinda
by gawd he actually did it
What I want to know is, was your wife watching that with a bucket over her head? I enjoy your content.
If it’s fun it’s worth doing!
Accuracy C but on the release I would give you a solid A. Bucket list. (Check)
Don't do it anikin you were the chosen one!
You can bowl 2 handed with your thumb
To much time talking.
🎱 bowlers 😆 Well it still counts as a bucket just a small one. 🪣
