As a coach of over 40 years, I want to complement you on your emotional maturity! You seem to handle bad shots and bad breaks really well. You’ve got a very bright future in this sport, keep it up Brady!
Having bowled on a 52 foot pattern on wooden lanes some years ago, I know just how frustrating it can be and how nothing seems to work at times! His mental game, for such a young age is still solid. He'll learn a lot.
This is the sport of bowling that makes it such a good sport to play great mental game you just gave me hope for league today may the pins always fall in your favor!👍
Wow! Thanks Brady! I watched the entire video. Looked like a spare clinic with some strikes here and there. Making the spares is ultra important. Keep it up. The grind is real. May the pins fall in your favor tomorrow.
Thank you so much for watching the entire video! I'm glad you noticed the emphasis on making spares. It's definitely a crucial part of the game. Keep supporting and watching, and may the pins always be in your favor too!
I saw you using the absolute power aswell I usually have a tougher time with the ball when I bowl on a longer pattern. Do you think the same was happening here? I throw about 410rpm avg and 16.5mph usually especially if I’m not tired lol.
Just a general question why go with two gloves? Is it just for extra grip or? I use one although I am one handed so it might be different I mainly use it to help with blisters on my palm area. Great videos my guy you are killing it !!
Recommendation from a senior scratch golfer and 200+bowler. First of all I love your demeanor and concise commentary as well as every shot covered. Great taste showing the other competitors...gives me more of a since of being there. As for technique...Consistency is King! Master that and you can more effectively adjust for conditions. It appears that you are quicker, less balanced, bad timing on your first shot...right foot high, low and all around. On the second shot, slightly slower , more balanced better timing ...right foot lower, more consistently calm. You are a great spare shooter and I think rolling your first ball like your spare ball will develop better consistency. Allow me to introduce you to the 80/20 rule...role with 80% of your capability...this will leave you with relaxed muscles that will perform more accurately. Approaching 100% effort leaves you without a margin of error in your muscles that would otherwise be available to make micro adjustments in the micro second. At this level you will need to roll a bullseye nearly every shot. Never give up and...let the bad shots motivate you to be more relaxed and focused...80% effort. (that's my approach and it has served me very well) You have what it takes to be great in this sport...GO FOR IT BRADY!!! Lady luck will always balance out in the end! GOOD LUCK and HAVE FUN!!!
Great concentration! I have a question. In league, I always encourage those around me, even if they're bowling against me. How is it at the PBA level? Are there any conversations between bowlers?
Yes, we all talk a little, and there's some occasional hand slaps when cool stuff happens, but we are all competing against each other, and the pro's are doing it for a living.
Gloves make everything better! 😆 Since I'm not using a thumbhole- the gloves help keep my hands in the same place on ball through the backswing and release. I do have two fingers in the ball. These gloves are prototypes, but we're working with a manufacturer to have them commercially available. Thanks for watching @EthanErvin703 !! 😃🎳🎳
Looked like more forward roll and less axis was working best for you on this pattern. Great Job keep bowling up a STORM. Great Job on your 1 pin spares!

Brady great bowling talent, congrats on taking on the US OPEN, your two hander and watching you reminded me of video interview of the G.O.A.T., BELMO, he said first years on tour he realized, speed and rev rate, is not always to solution, it is taking what the pattern is giving you, seems to me Brady was using speed and rev rate to conquer the conditions, Brady is far advanced already at his young age in his bowling abilities than bowlers much older and experienced, " the sky is the limit", seems appropriate to use for Brady.
