Hi, would like to book this resort too, but we are a little bit confused about the roofconstruction? It looks like some kind of tarpaulin? Isnt that freaking loud inside the bungalow when it rains or when its windy?
Hi, it is a good question, but fortunately for us we haven’t experienced any rain or storms whilst our stay ,so I cannot really answer your question honestly 😊
Before the villas were rebuilt a few years ago (in fact the entire resort was), we stayed there during a huge storm. You could not even have a conversation between the bed and the seating area. The doise was so loud. Not sure on the new villas though but the roof construction seems similar.
My first Maldives holiday was at this resort before it was refitted. Not my favourite island as it has no house reef and the lagoon is quite shallow.
