Bahaha! When you just flailed the Demko about, omg I’m still laughing about that. Love your reviews! I just found your channel so thankfully I have a backlog to get through. Thanks for the excellent content! Ohh yeah. The reason I came, yesterday my Large Sebenza Macassar inlay tanto in Magnacut arrived, and today my Umnumzaan tanto S45VN will be here! So to hype myself up I’m watching a bunch of Zaan reviews. Yours is by FAR the best. Mainly for the moment with the Demko.
Love your reviews! I like that you give the products you review a fair shot to perform well or poorly. A lot of reviews are knives that people get sent to them on loan or prototypes so they can’t actually use them or test them like the should be. I always feel more comfortable buying something after seeing your opinion. Glad to have you back man and looking forward to more content! Cheers!
I know exactly what you mean! I got my first CRK 2 years ago. (Small Sebenza 31) and was supper bummed when I first opened it bc of those same reasons and almost sold it as well… after a few months a fell in love with it and learned the knife and now I can flick it open with all 5 fingers if I try and it is the knife I carry more than any other in my collection. I’m here because today I finally found a Umnumzaan in stock and placed my order! Great video man!
That initial break in period was hard, like breaking in a pair of leather boots. But once it got where it needed to be the rest is history. Congratulations on your new Umnumzaan!
We have the same tastes for knives from what i can see. I bought my first CRK three weeks ago. It’s a small inkosi tanto in s35vn. I literally felt in love with it. At the point that i have an umnumzaan tanto in s45vn in the mail right now. Can’t wait to get it! Try to strop the PB washers. It makes an amazing difference for the smoothness. With that being said, a small umnumzaan would be 🔥!!!!!thanks for the good video. It helps me a lot getting through that hard waiting time hahaha
@@highwindsedc can’t wait to handle it as well and make my own opinion. I’m pretty sure i’ll love it. It’s just the sharp locking bar that maies me wonder if it’s as bad as people say it is.
@@highwindsedc That is one good looking knife! I'm still carrying my Esee Izula cross carry, I ended up getting a leather strap (w/ button snaps)off of eBay for it. That definitely helped keep it closer to me to the point where I geto the point where again, I forget that it's that it's there. And I ended up getting the the Leatherman bond on on eBay as well for really cheap. It was listed as used but it probably probably was maybe opened a couple of time but never used. Not one scratch. It has some company logo on it but I'm good with that period It fits very well and the TOK T tux. Instead of carrying a knife in that I put the multitool in there and it fits very good. I ended up putting a lanyard on the Leatherman so it's easier to take out.
@@highwindsedc Did you check out Olight's sale last week? They have a new pry tool and and a couple of new knives. I ordered the pry tool, should be in this week.
Beautiful knife I personally like the sebenza since I own a large 31 drop point and a small 21 insingo one tool to take it apart
That’s smart

I have an affinity for this model, it’s just so cool and functional to boot. I stropped the washers on my newest knife and it worked so well!

@@gtrul3s387 it was pretty brutal in the first two days but I was not used to it. Now that I am it’s not going anywhere
@@highwindsedc i’ll man up this thumb then!
The zaan definitely looks cool and seems to preform well. Great review 👍
There’s no s in Reeve. So many reviewers say it that way and it’s just🤦🏻♂️
Otherwise good review of spectacular knife.👍🏼
Thanks boss! It’s hard to avoid it when you’re doing long forum
What was that little fixed blade you had when you were doing size comparisons? With the leather pouch sheath?
It’s called the Boker AK1! I have a review of it here on RUclips
How did the glass blasting come out?
Ended up not going through with it.
There he is!
What’s up man!
