- Here’s my video of my 00g - 1/2” stretch using the taping method after a few months of being at a 00g.

I feel like everyone at 00g for a while thinks its too small. That's funny. I'm at 00g and I think my "final goal" will be 1/2 an inch

@@NightShayde thats what's up And thanks. I wish you luck on your stretches also. I like your videos by the way. But I would like to eventually get over the addiction. I feel like it is addicting. I might be able to stop at 1/2 inch and maybe not. 😂 I don't think I would want to go over an inch though. Honestly the original piercing that I did on myself was not even centered right so I feel like I would rip my earlobe in half.
Mike Mooney I know what you mean lol! I pierced my ears too and my left ear is a little off centered so I’m just making sure it’s healthy and has enough blood flow. So just keep an eye on them!

I started doing the taping method starting from 8g and it really does work wonders, no pain, super easy and honestly faster (for me) than I expected

I’m at 00g and been there for 2 years I got from 0-00 using the taping method and it was so easy I’ve recommended it to my friends that want to stretch too. I’m going to be taping up to 1/2” soon
how many layers of tape before you could go up to 1/2?
How long did it take you to tape from 00 to 1/2"? I'm at 00 and I'm over the tapers and 1/2" here I come. How do you stop the tunnels sliding out once the tape gets close to the size of the flare?

Currently at 00g and doing the taping method and yeah! It works really well lol. 1 more month and should be trying the half inch then i'm gonna wear my 12mm sempiternal plugs 😁

I'm currently using the same method. Curious tho, what tape did you use. & about how many layers. I've used non adhesive tape but it's super thin. I'd say I've added about 13 layers to each. Lol I'm scared to go up in size. Whether I've had the current size in for a year or just 3 months my earlobes cannot take it. They swell everytime & push me back further. Any tips would be great!!
C h e l s e a I’m stoked to hear about your journey! I used Teflon tape literally from Home Depot. It was 89 cents lol. I would tape 3 wraps at a time every 3-5 days with the smaller sizes and then 2 wraps every 5 days from my 1/2” to 5/8” stretch. Usually when it’s a 2mm difference in size, 14 - 16 wraps was perfect for the next size to easily slide in! I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions!
I’ve been so lucky that I have incredibly stretchy ears I was at a 0g just like a month ago and I went to put a 00g in just for shits and it literally went in LOOSELY, and all I’ve worn are silicone tunnels, so I ordered some 1/2 yesterday to see if I can fit in those already since even the 00g are loose
I'm doing the silicone plugs I'm at 00 I'll be going to 1/2 inch I just did it with my right ear I lost a plug and while waiting for my silicone ones to show up it shrunk so I just squished up the silicone plug when I got it and in about 2 days it wasn't squished anymore so I figure it should work with my 1/2 plugs I'm excited but I'm looking for a video of people doing the ae method
What tape do ya use?
My ears stretch themselves pretty much, since 4g I have never had to use taper or tape they just get weight down by the tunnels so I’m currently at a 0g or that’s what size I wear, my ears are more of a 00g but I haven’t really put the effort in to get some bigger tunnels yet.
goatsnboats nice! Time and weight really helps I’ve noticed too. I couldn’t find heavy materials like stone but I’m sure it would’ve helped!
My goal size was 00 when I was in my early 20’s. Now I’m 30 at 1 inch, have a pair of obsidian 26mm plugs that I may pop in eventually.
Same! I've been on 00g for about half a year now but it didn't feel big enough. I'm going for 12mm.
What kind of tape did you use? Can't find tapers that go up to 12mm in my local area so I'm straight up doing the tape method.

I used PTFE Teflon tape from Home Depot for 89 cents lol. I actually have an “in depth” video on how to tape tunnels and what tape I used! Anyway, good luck and thanks for responding!

How long does it take for you to wait between sizes
Isaiah Rushlow I usually start taping my tunnels and tape them(2-3 wraps) every other day or so. Once I get to about 14 or 16 wraps on each tunnel I’m usually set for the next size up. So that takes about 2 or 3 weeks. Then I leave the next size in until I feel like they’ve healed enough to start stretching again

Monkey4305 being consistent is what really helped me out. But 0g is where I started liking how they looked in my ears so I stopped worrying about how ugly they were lol
