Vinesh Phogat Case | Top Sports Body Defers Verdict In Vinesh Phogat's Disqualification Case

The final Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) ruling on the Vinesh Phogat silver medal appeal has been deferred to August 11, 9:30pm IST. The Indian athlete was disqualified hours before her final bout in the women's freestyle 50kg for missing the weight limit by 100g. Not only this, Vinesh was stripped of the silver medal she was assured of.
