Faces of Rare Childhood Cancer | Adin's Journey

At just 20 years old, Adin has faced and conquered battles most could never imagine.
Diagnosed with a stage 4 germ cell tumor in 2021, Adin fought courageously, but his journey was far from easy. During treatment, he suffered a stroke that left him paralyzed on his left side-a devastating complication that might have been prevented with more personalized research into treatment effects.
Despite it all, Adin’s determination continues to inspire, and he is now cancer-free! He’s making incredible strides toward walking independently and is pursuing a computer science degree at UNCC. His dream? To revolutionize cancer diagnosis and treatment, ensuring no one else has to endure what he has.
