I was thinking that too. Also in general Maher can take stabs but he's a loud mouth and runs over other people's mouths until he gets enough opposition. I feel like he actually likes being challenged despite being so full of himself.
They were entertaining each other and us
1:19 Mike wasn't a fan of that one lmaooo
Flamed him 😂😂😂
This is fantastic. Bill Burr exposes Maher's BS so skillfully - I am in awe!
"Now youre gonna act like a real housewife... Press charges" 😂
I think it's amazing how Burr is able to zero in on all of Maher's insecurities.
Bill Maher definitely gives the vibe that he huffs his own farts.
Its not that he has no filter, its that he has no filter and still delivers his non filterness with class and masterfully
I like how Bill Burr just casually puts Mahr in the shredder time after time. I absolutely love it! I don't think there's anybody else out there that has the quick enough wit to do that face to face on a public platform. It's like fine artwork.
Bill Burr always starts out by saying he is uneducated and stupid (“ah, what do I know”) but he’s the most logical comic I have seen and has an acute sense of detecting BS. I love him.
He knows hes witty and introspective, but also knows that doesnt mean he has a lot of academic knowledge
Dumb people act smart.
Smart people act dumb.
I bet Burr is in fact pretty bright. Very sharp and fast on his feet.
I just cant BELIEVE Bill lasted 50 episodes with Burt?!! 😮
They did FIFTY!?????
@@w8m4n apparently, I didn't even know they ever had a podcast... I kinda wanna watch it to see how terrible it is 😄
I actually love the chemistry between both Bills. They're clearly having fun
Honestly, no, we don’t look at you as the same. I look at Bill as basically my father’s generation arguing with my grandfather’s generation when I see these.
And you're 40!
7:19 It literally means "left", but can be used to mean awkward, clumsy...NOT great smh.
Yeah, it screams "I know big words lemme use them", the guy should learn to shut up before he sounds like a clown
They’re having fun and jabbing each other playfully man. Why does it have to be a conflict.
Because this RUclipsr needs likes and views
Yeah they have known each other for years..people are taking this too seriously. They have probably known each other for 20 years or more.
Bill had that entire morning talk show thinkin they were about to get pulled off live tv lmao
"Gauche" means left lol
It also means clumsy.
He laughs like Crispin Glover in back to the future.
Burr is so talented at being a spitfire dude as well as a long form comedy set guy, hope that makes sense
Bro the tyson part just made bill burr a legend😂 wtf this guy got balls
“2000 and 2000... mike it’s 2020” 💀
2:06 For the record, Bill Maher IS a comedian: He has at least a dozen stand-up specials. That said, his show itself has become far more of a snobbish opinion project, than a platform for comedic takes on politics.
He didn’t mean it so literally. Calm down
@@SmcdMcd-d2k This was my first exposure to this channel, so I'm not familiar with his rhetorical style. Calm down
@@MrSlanderer that’s not a rhetorical style really I mean I think it’s just a hint of sarcasm that you should be easily exposed to if you’re into comedy don’t you think?
@@SmcdMcd-d2k I didn't really detect any comedic angle or sarcasm from him throughout the video, as he seemed to be giving a serious critique on Bill Maher himself, and using clips of Bill Burr to insert actual comedic criticism. I understand where you're coming from, though.
@@MrSlanderer oh my god… you are not ok. Seriously bro, you’re reading into this too much. He was being sarcastic.
No matter what. Maher took the roasting in stride. He laughed it off. Good on him
Love the channel ! 🇬🇧 Richard Dreyfus sliding off his chair on his podcast after telling a dubious story about his mum and sister was mad ha Redbar did an episode on it 😂
@@sub-vibes thank god we all care about what an idiot loser like you thinks grow up you child
Burr is the best. Really, he tells everything as is because he's smart as Hell.
I love Bill Burr for his everyday people wisdom - he talks like the smart people i meet in everyday life
Maher should've had Dennis Miller on his show instead of Burr. Birds of a feather take to the air together.
“Those Brownsville schools.”
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Club random with Burr was great, because bill defended himself. When mahrer isnt being checked He brings Up His antiwoke topics, anti marriage, anti Kids. Its OK if you dont want to marry and get kids but dont assume ITS the best life you can live. Prime example for this is the Tony Hawk Episode of Club random.
"Those Brownsville schools man." 😆
Calmly? Nothing Burr does is calm. It's majestically aggro
Burr did this to Rogan with the mask/covid thing on JRE, no one is above Burr's criticism.
The little rascals hat kills me every time
“Don’t you think the catholic church went a little too far…I know this is a morning show, you can’t bring up all those crimes” is an absolute fire line 😂
6:08 I must be living under a rock because I didn't know Burr did a pod with Kreicher. That is so bizarre.
So, I like both of these men, as a conservative leaning person, I actually enjoy their humor.
Bill Maher was using fancy language after Burr roasted him just to get a rise out of him. It's so clear, that I don't know how you couldn't catch that, or couldn't be sure about it. Nobody would break out a latin phrase unironically after being roasted for saying something mildly intelligent. He's being pretentious on purpose.
Common sense is becoming rarer and rarer as the years go by.
oh no fancy language watch out for words
@@shawnmuench Exactly
Thanks for helping me see this without having to boost Maher's podcast views.
Bill Maher is like that kid who never gets picked in a group assignment
I love and respect this guy so much he’s one of the realest people out there
the mike tyson one LOL
"I am not the bad guy because I know more..." this is the best line from Maher here!
This is exactly what you say when you are debating someone like Burr, here.
My parents met Bill Maher at a bar and they just said he was an arrogant scumbag even though he’s like 5’4. Makes sense now.
The fact that he’s 5’ 4 makes it more believable that he’s an arrogant scumbag. Despite his success he still, probably unconsciously, feels he has to compensate
Re the latin bit. Bill Maher is the kind of guy who learns a phrase, without learning the language, but claims to "know things". He's like a trained seal.
Bill Maher is so pretentious it's hurts my brain.. He thinks he really is something else... lol
Love Burr. Dont even love his stand up, just love how he doesnt feel he doesnt have to filter the truth to make other people happy.
That is their way of banter. They are friends. You don't get it at all!! They are comedians.
"I'm not some giant eggheg"
Put this on Bill Maher's tombstone
Maher is wrong, I am 19 and am well aware of different generations and it’s pretty obvious that Maher has some older qualities than burr. Bill burr literally listens to primus which is from the 90s while Maher is into the Beatles which I also love. But it’s pretty obvious.
thank you for contextualizing.. I popped a lot of whipped cream cans and dwelled around gas stations in my early days so this really helps
gauche in french means left and in english means awkward...
Is it the same as what Pixies sing about. "gauche your way" I ask because I have never understood those lyrics
“Let me adjust my glasses” lmfao
Being arrogant is not a virtue, Maher
To whoever made this video, Bill Maher IS a comedian. He used to do HBO specials.
Yes, Burr fans, get mad about Mahr knows how to use the word 'gauche'. Oh, my goodness, what a ELITEST! Two things: 1. Gauche is a word used in the Peanuts, Charlie Brown, comic. #Duh. 2. Being smarter or better read is a good thing for someone giving opinion online.
Go to sleep old ass boomer
Bill is ballsy for that Mike Tyson clip 😂😂😂
Just the tone he corrects Mike Tyson, he’s like a disappointed father whose teenager still struggles with reading 😂
