They recently had a similar offer, except they let you have the smaller unit, AND they gave you a free adopted kid from a war-torn, third, world country. I let them know I had purchased 3 of those 240 units, and a week later, I now have 3 kids who don't speak English. Sweet deal! Thank you Jackery!!!

Great review! I dropped mine from waist hieght onto the parking lot while unloading my gear. It literally bounced on the pavement. Has still worked perfectly without one hiccup.
I did a fair bit of research on this type of power station and was leaning heavily toward this one. Your honest review tipped the scale and I bought this one today. Thank you so much!!
Just purchased the 1000 today w/ two solar panels $1400. I live in the hurricane zone south Mississippi. I have a 20kw Generac that runs on natural gas, but I’ve always feared a disruption in my gas service following a disaster, so this package is a solid plan B.
I needed a unit ruclips.net/user/postUgkxOTeIs0vv4_9B5hsmnLsk9r930uDQLu_Y that I could store in my home when I wasn't running, so it being light and running on propane were key requirements. I can store the propane tank/bottle outside yet store the generator in my home when it's not in use as I will never put any gas in the engine. It is so light, and on echo mode, which I expect is how it will be used most of the time, it is pretty darned quiet (certainly compared to all the generators I hear in my neighborhood after each power outage). Many of the previous reviews had me concerned that it would be difficult to start on propane, but I have to say, I had absolutely no problem at all. I primed it first using the choke...3 pulls, heard the engine want to start, flipped it to propane, and one more pull and she started. I ran it for 2 hours the first time and plugged it in my fridge. And when I was done, I put the propane tank away and carried the generator to my basement for next time.I could not be happier.
Hi. I am deciding on the 500 or 1000 model. I need if for 2-3 days wild camping and want to run a 12v fridge and charge up a few things when needed...do you think the 500 is capable? thanks 🙂
Thank you for explaining how long it takes to charge using the three options. You are the only reviewer that cared enough to share this vital information!
I’ve been salivating over this unit and finally decided to pull the trigger after a cheaper version from another company left me unsatisfied. The price tag had me hesitant but your agenda free review gave me the confidence I needed to go thru with it. I always trust your opinion. Thanks Luke
I’ve lived off grid in my little bus for just over two years. I have a pair of Jackery 240 Lithium, one at each end. I have used them every day and charged them various ways. I have never had a single problem in over 2 years of constant use.
Luke introduced me to UGQ Quilts (😍) and so many other items and saved me hundreds on things I’d have been taking a chance on. Luke is my go to and when I type in something for a review and see Luke has covered it I feel reassured.
I purchased a Jackery 1000 AFTER I purchased a Jupiter 1500 watt inverter. When I saw all the wiring needed for the inverter, I changed my mind and got the Jack 1000. My thought was you’re still running off your truck battery. No worries now with the 1000. I went camping and it was cold at night, I had brought an electric blanket and used it 3 nights on 4 setting! The next mornings I plugged in my 6 cup coffee maker no problem. Numerous charges on iPhones & iPad. Over the 3 days I never got below 50% power So now that I’ve watched your video..... I’m gonna purchase a 12v fridge .... this is all your fault LoL You’re right about this Jack 1000 best purchase I’ve made! This makes short camping trips VERY comfortable and you confirmed long overland trips as well.
I've been doing the homework I normally do when researching purchases such as this and I'm sold after your wonderful and thorough review. I looked at reviews of power stations, the best of etc for 2022. The Jackery is at the top of every one of them. When I'm out building on my property it's off grid and this is perfect. Thanks.
My family and I live in a apartment. With the economy being unstable and the government being as nuts as it has been, my husband and I figured we better get serious about planning for emergencies in case the power goes out. I saw the Jackery 1000 on Amazon and saw that 90% gave it five stars. I decided to look on RUclips for reviews and your video was the first one I found. After hearing what you had to say, I think it will be a wise purchase. I love how portable it is and quiet. If I get a infrared heater for the winter, and the power goes out, it will be perfect to keep our appliances going and our place warm!
Ordered aJ 1000 on Black Friday. Shipped today, sun Nov 28, expected delivery on Tuesday, Nov 30, 2021. I’m excited to test. And thanks to Luke for his objective review.
I've just purchased the Explorer 1000, solar panel and carrying case and I'm very happy with the build quality. It is exactly as I saw on Amazon UK. I really enjoyed your video. I've subbed you and watching your snow in the forest video. You live in a beautiful part of the world! Best regards from England.
Ordered mine today, but without solar panels, got even a $150 coupon through Amazon! I came here to see what charging cables/options come in the box, glad everything is inclusive, for this price I expected it. My SUV camping is going to be so much more easy with this power station, even without solar panels, I don't stay away from home for weeks, so charging of the Jackery can be done in the car while driving. Now I can use my Mini-Bullet, I can't function without a fruit smoothie in the morning, lol. And since I don't have a garage, no mile long extension cables needed anymore for the power tools during the process of converting my Nissan X-Trail into a mini-camper. Wonderful review!
Many of us camp, backpack, and overland... given the big overlaps of those activities, I like how you review a variety of products that are of interest for all or just some of those activities.
Been watching reviews for a year on jackery...just took my 1400 stimulus and bought the 2 100 solar panels and jackery 1000...I pray I made the right decision because now I'm kinda broke lol

Thanks. U sold me on the hackery 1000. Buying as soon as the ad is over. Getting my overlander gear setup now not only for trips but bug out emergencies too. Thanks Luke.
Thank you for the honest opinion of the Jackary 1000 solar generator. I have been researching it for a year and have seen 100's of positive write-ups on it with a few negatives which you will find with anything you purchase. So, I went and bought the Jackary 1000 package ( including 100 w panels) today from Amazon, after viewing your very informative video on it. I think today (Oct 20) was the last day for their sale on it, a reduction of about $300.00 in the full package.. I live in an apartment and during storms and bad weather, I have lost power for about 2 days. So, the main reason for my purchase is for emergency power use. My apartment faces the southwest, therefore I will have no problems setting the panels inside and right in front if my sliding glass doors in my living room. Thank you for this information and video. So this open and honest review, led me to purchase the Jackery 1000, yes there were cheaper, but i want reliability ( isnt that why we buy these in the first - to give you power when we have no other options). I did not purchase the solar panels from Jackery, as i found a better WATERPROOF version from Rockpals, for 2 x 100 panels (their new version) with kick-stands, so they can be angled towards the sun, for around $340 for 2 panels - they have an offer as of now ($40 off) through Amazon - i simply ordered 1 panel twice - so in effect got $80 off the 2 panels. This is an incredible saving over the Jackery Panels and they are waterproof too ! Thanks Luke.
Just got my setup going and am so impressed. I'm not sure I chose "perfectly" since in 2024 there are some new options, and I find the fixed plastic handle a bothersome element in my already-crowded rear compartment, but I got a huge deal on both the battery and the solar panel. It really is as "plug and play" as you describe, so I was able to put it into my rig immediately. If it were a perfect rectangle with a foldable handle I'd have a bit less regret, but the idiot-proof power for days is simply astonishing Can't wait to make some outdoor off-grid solar-powered synth videos :)
I have the 500' I live in apartment. I thought it would be better than a gas/gen. And with all the extra goodies you can get with low wattage draw , fan-light-walkman-head lamps-laptop-phone. I'm looking at cooler next. Very happy with my purchase so far,
I appreciate your video. I have the unit you are describing and the panels. My solar panels did not come with a compartment with the Anderson power cords. Mine came in a separate box. Found them.
3 yrs later and I'm still considering buying that same unit. I don't have a ton of needs to justify anything bigger. I love that the company is USA based for support help. I love that it is controlled by me instead of a phone application. I like the ruggedness of it. And the sturdy handle for lugging it. All in all it simply and functionally meets my needs ♥. MY CAMPING STYLES ARE: 1. Chevy Classic 1500 Conversion Van with the EXPLORER package upgrades. 2. Moto Tent Camping with 2 Vespa Scooters. 3. 19ft Airstream Bumper Pull Camper 4. Our Full-size Motorcoach for stays of 3 months or longer and Van goes with us too so even more camping options during longer stays. IN CLOSING: Well then, that's why I like that Power Station unit. 😊
@@ragdollpreppers2648 Yes, I really haven't needed much. The Van has an built-in Inverter and that has worked well since I don't spend much time in it, mainly used for my fishing trips. The Airstream Bumper Pull is fully self contained, etc. The Newmar Motorcoach isn't an issue... built-in generator that's over kill even with 2 roof unit air conditioners. I'm mainly thinking about the Jackery for the Van... for Rain Days when the weekend weather doesn't cooperate for fishing. I know, I should move forward and be done thinking about it 😆. I'm old in years and old school I guess.
Hey! How much battery percentage does it use on 1 phone charge...in addition, could it power one of those medium sized fridges? As well as, a small heater? And how long would it last?
@@jakewatson1160 i found it drained fast with my small heaters or a large power fan i have in the house. Rumor has it, it will run a small travel fridge. I dont have one of those so i havent tested that yet. When i use the solar panel, it took 2 days to charge back up.
Researched portable power stations. Jackery by far is proven the best. Your review was extremely helpful and professionally presented. I will be purchasing the 1000w this year. Jackery does need to improve the solar panel to withstand moisture and rain to provide a perfect survival kit. Until such improvements are conducted, I will not purchase the panels. Thanks again for your fantastic review.
When Jackery starting marketing I bought a bought 12000 ma rechargeable battery it will charge every portable that I have phone, iPad,etc... Jackery is rock solid for me I don't have the use for a 1000 watt power station if I did this would be the brand that I would buy. Okay $1.00 per watt if it never fails as spoken by the host I don't see the problem. Reliability means a lot to me. Thank you for sharing your video with us.
I am so glad to hear what you are saying about the Jackery 1000 I have a travel trailer HiLo for me a widow it is more than enough for me to go out on the road go fishing and just in general get away from people so I have given this slot of thought thank you for sharing your review I’m sold
I've been happy with my Explorer 500; only regret is not going ahead with the 1000. I've made great use of it while camping and also at home. I have family members who require the occasional use of powered medical equipment and the 500 was extremely useful during a power outage. Plus it provides peace of mind. Its not a replacement for a home generator but the portability and ability to charge from solar are huge benefits even in the at-home role.
Been working with them for years. They make a pretty solid product especially with the deal with Honda. Pair their generators up with a solid solar panel and it’s a great system. Good review as always Luke.
@Living Survival, You work for them? Wonderful!! Can you get them to please reply to my sales enquiry?? I've tried 18 times, through 4 different emails, AND facebook.... and can't get through to anyone. Despite cc'ing in head office, "Peggy" is refusing to reply, and denying having ever received any emails. The Aussie page invites clients to "call" but there is NO phone number listed. Begging to spend money with a company is rather boring.
I wouldn't be surprised if Honda buys Jackery. I almost bought the Honda EB2200i generator. The Jackery Explorer 1000 could eventually become its green sibling.
Just picked up one of those along with a pair of 100W panels. Couldn't be happier. If you purchase the panels as a pair, you get a bit of a discount. As for the 'four ways to charge', maybe that refers to the four types of output (AC, DC 12v, USB-A and USB-C)? Keep up the good work, Luke!
@@pault7280 It all boils down to time and time of year. With a pair, you can recharge fully in about 7-8 hours on a bright, sunny day. Obviously, that time will double with only one. Shorter winter days will compromise the recharging as well.
They sure have come a long way in the last ten years. That looks awesome. Hopefully they become more popular and drop in price in the years to come. To pricey for me still in Canadian beaver peso's. I bought a lil Jackery battery pack a few years ago. Only 6000 mah but it is still going strong and took a major beating. They seem like a alright company.
Thanks for the review. I'm picking up a Modern Buggy teardrop trailer this weekend and it comes with this Jackery. I had some concerns that this power set up might not meet my needs, but you put me a little more at ease.
My biggest issue is that, unless this has been changed, the batteries are only rated for 500 cycles. Other products are rated for 2,000 cycles (or maybe more). But I do like the build quality and 2x surge ability.
I’ve got the 240 and the 50watt panel. Works well. Does great on drone batteries while keeping the cell phone going. Ran my fridge for 2 days (low of 40- high of 55) without solar. Definitely happy with the purchase.
Okay! I already have the Jackery 500 and it works great! But Jackery knocked off $100 the 1000 and I ordered it this morning! I need to run my fridge, fan and CPAP. Now I’m all set! Great gear!😉
I have to say your video is excellent, very thorough. Most of these guys talk about output amounts and tests they've done and what the numbers are which most people don't even understand,.. The only thing you're missed Is telling us where it's made.
I have both the Jackery 1000 and 500, plus a solar panel, all purchased in the past few months. I really love them because they are so well built and perform perfectly. Jackery has refined all their products to near perfection. I also really like my 2 huge Ego 30 Ah 2000w rigs but they are very bulky and limited to just 120VAC and USB-A outlets and can’t be charged with solar so I use them for larger AC items after major outages. I use the Jackerys for trips and as DC backup for my 12v fridge, etc. They are stored in a metal can faraday cage when not in use. For a SHTF situations, I also have homebuilt solar controllers, industrial panels and sine wave inverters and both propane and gas run generators, half stored in faraday cages for SHTF.
Thanks for the review. Mine arrives on Thursday. I could have used it today after power went out yesterday. Had to drag out the Champion Gas Generator. Oh well....I'm sure there will be a nest time.
Thank you for this review! They have this unit on special right now for $850 Canadian dollars! This is going to be perfect for my fish tank in case of power outages.
I have two smaller Jackerys ( 160 and 240 ) and a couple ( 300 and 500 w ) from other brands .... guess what i choose when time came for a bigger one ? A Jackery Explorer 1000 , why ? everything works ,every time, with the Jackerys , no unreadable screen or useless display ,no loud fans all adapter are included ... they just work well and are well designed . So i guess i agree with you ! Thanks for the always excellent reviews .
Montek 1000 input capability charge all together: solar, dc, ac together and fulfill power in 2 hours with no problems and battery replacement !!! You can hook up more solar panels too !!! Suitcase water proof configuration, great percentage meter viewing usage and charge times together simultaneously, best integrated inverter circuitry protection at half the price as the Jackery !!! Quite noise level at 49db during charge or usage time!!! Drop proof and submerge water proof. Hmmm, light weight too.
Love the channel and the reviews that you give! I couldn't agree with you more about the Jackery products. I have the 240 model and it works great for my needs. I have also tried many portable power units over the years and this is the first one that seems to be well built and reliable.
I am a 54 year old grandma. I picked one of these with one solar panel. Easy peasy. Grandma can figure it out, so you can too. I'm going to pick up another solar panel as soon as my budget allows. Thanks for the tip that the panels aren't water proof. I haven't read the Manuel yet and didn't know that.
I just purchased my Jackery 1000 last month. I live near the Gulf of Mexico and that translates to Hurricane alley. It is on the pricey side and I wish the solar panels were waterproof(for the price they should be). I needed something to run a Dometic CFX3-45, charge batteries/devices while camping and have some redundancy for charging devices incase of a hurricane power outage. I am not sure if they sent me an older model solar panel, but my charging cable is located in the zipped up pouch. Thank you for the review.
Your reviews are one of the two that I trust. My question is whether I need one of these, especially at the going price. I go to the SoCal mountains or desert to ride my mountain bike. My usual outing is just overnight with an occasional 2 night trip. Once I arrive, I’m mostly on my bike. I return to the car for dinner and to sleep. My lights are powered by internal batteries. My smart phone and GoPro batteries are charged on the car’s DC, though I do have small power-banks for that I carry while riding. My DVD player has its own battery. I have a cooler, but no refrigeration. I’m really taken with the Jackery and your review, but wonder if it is worth the money for me. I will give whatever you say serious consideration because you are one of the two that I trust.
We live off grid and have a small solar system, we also have a generator for the big stuff like power tools. We are considering the Jackery 1000 for an additional power source. We like back ups for our back ups. You gave a good review, hitting the buy button ASAP. Thank you
You have confirmed my opinion on the Jackery system. I bought an Explorer 500 a few months ago, and like it so much that I recently ordered an Explorer 1500. While I researched many competitors, the Jackery came out on top, IMHO, and I am pleased with the product. Their product support is of ultimate importance. Thank you for the review!
@@sweetbeep They are both Jackery Explorers. LOL Didn't mean to confuse the issue. Unless you were wondering if the Explorer model came with solar panels - they don't. The identical models called "Solar Generators" do come with panels, as a kit. Best wishes, and Happy New Year!

That sucks that the solar panels can't handle any moisture. But, I've seen quite a few reviews on the jackery products & really thinking that power supply is the way to go. I'll be researching for moisture safe solar panels. Thanks for sharing Luke! Be safe, God bless

As always thanks for a great agenda free review I am much heartened with my investment having seen this. It was cheaper from the factory than on Amazon and free shipping too. Thank you for this review. I've been considering the Jackery 500 as an emergency backup power supply for the pellet stove fan in the winter. While we don't *usually* have power outages, it does happen. Since this is quite an outlay for strict budgets, I so appreciate the honest review of quality!
Hey Luke my Dad has that he got his last year he takes it on the boat and his camper he likes it a lot any way hope y'all are doing well much love your way be safe have a wonderful day
Jackery are expensive even their smaller power stations, but you get what you pay for. I just bought a small E240, no flash light or fast charging USB ports. It will cater for my needs but even the E240 is was pricey. I went with a compatible waterproof solar panel, that was 60% cheaper then the Jackery non waterproof solar panels.
I use higher level power conditioners for my sensitive electronics: I know about the value of surge protection. I have a commercial garage level of rechargeable battery system to restart vehicles and to pump larger tires...and to handle recharging of basic electronics batteries. For me...$1,000 seems like a big number. For people who are out back and filming for RUclips, this is probably a great way to go. THANKS FOR THE REVIEW!
I just bought a newer upgraded version of this, the Jackery Explorer 1000 Pro, because of 2 significant improvements in specs. The Pro will fully charge from 0% to 100% on an AC outlet in under 2 hours instead of 7. I verified this yesterday by fully charging mine after it arrived. I didn't mark the exact time, but it was under 2 hours, in the neighborhood of 1 hour and 45 minutes. The second big enhancement is that the Pro is rated for 1000 full recharges, double the 500 the regular Jackery 1000 is rated for. When I was first looking at the original Jackery 500 and 1000, the charging time and charge cycles were my 2 biggest concerns, so when I saw the enhanced specs on the 1000 Pro I was sold. It is more expensive than the 1000 reviewed here, $1099 directly from Jackery or from retailers, but those 2 enhancements made it worth the extra cost for me. The flashlight on the 1000 Pro is on the same side as the display and the output ports, on the upper left. There is a little rubber tab over the light that you move out of the way (it stays attached to the unit) to use the light, which is very powerful. The light has 2 settings and at the upper setting I think it would light up a campsite if you had the unit sitting on the tailgate of a nearby truck or sitting in the back of a van with the back end opened up. The 3rd switch of the light is an SOS function where the light blinks on and off. The display screen that shows the charge level and what rate anything plugged into the unit is drawing at displays very quickly when you push the button. So the 2 slight deficiencies identified in this review of the 1000 also appear to have been upgraded in the 1000 Pro. What am I looking into is how to operate the Jackery 1000 Pro to get maximize its longevity. The brief owner's manual says very little about that, which is disappointing. But I have read a brief comment or two from Jackery's website that says while it can do pass through charging, i.e. the Jackery being plugged in to your vehicle to maintain a full charge while it runs a portable refrigerator plugged in to it, it is not recommended to maximize the life of the unit. It is the same principle as not charging your cell phone or laptop computer every day if you don't have to. There is some research from the University of Michigan that says being at 0% or 100% are stressful for lithium-ion batteries and should be avoided as much as possible. Once a lithium battery is at 100% charge, it should be unplugged (I did this after the initial charge on mine rather than leaving it plugged into the wall at home), and it should not be run down to 0% if you can avoid it. I have an Iceco VL45 portable refrigerator arriving today. I'm going to load it up with cold bottles of water, connect it to the Jackery 1000 Pro (not plugged in to an outlet) and keep track of how long it will power the refrigerator down to roughly a 20% charge level, recognizing that it will vary on the road based on the ambient temperature. I expect it to be a couple of days or more based on what I've read and seen people demonstrate in videos. My thought is that when I'm using the Jackery and the Iceco refrigerator while overlanding, I will run the refrigerator off the Jackery with the Jackery unplugged most of the time. Every 2nd or 3rd day or so, whenever the charge on the Jackery is down to 20-30% charge level, I'll plug it into the vehicle outlet and recharge it while it's acting as a pass through to the refrigerator while I'm driving so the Jackery and refrigerator aren't pulling on the vehicle battery. The cooled Iceco cycles on and off and doesn't draw a lot of energy, so the Jackery should still fully recharge from 20-30% to 100% in 2 or 3 hours. Then I'll unplug the Jackery again after it reaches a 100% charge level and let it run the refrigerator without being constantly recharged. Luke, I'd be interested in your thoughts on this issue and also get an update on whether your 1000 is still operating well 2 years after this video (I haven't looked at your more recent videos yet to see if you've done an update). I recognize that the Jackery units will have a finite life no matter how you use them, but given the $1100 cost of mine I'm hoping that by not constantly recharging it I might get 5 or 6 years out of it instead of 3 or 4.
Thank you Luke that's really cool that's the one I want to get thanks for checking that out for me i mean mobile afforded for a couple months but we'll get 1 good job the job take care of my friend

Thank you so much!!
hey just reaching wondering if you still like? how has it been holding up?
Also curious how it's been for you?
Why are you talking about propane generator when we’re discussing solar here lmfaoooooo
I also just bought the jackery 1000 and 1 solar panel although I haven't even tried out my solar panel yet, but I love the jackery.. works great
I have been running the Jackery 500 for several months, No complaints at all !
Spot on review !!!
Thanks Luke
Can I ask which brand it was and why it left you unsatisfied? Thanks!
I have two of them Luke. One plus one equals 1. Loose one or one goes dead, you still have one . Thanks Luke!
I’ve lived off grid in my little bus for just over two years. I have a pair of Jackery 240 Lithium, one at each end. I have used them every day and charged them various ways. I have never had a single problem in over 2 years of constant use.
We appreciate you doing these reviews because ultimately you save us money and time and heartaches or show us great items thanks
Luke introduced me to UGQ Quilts (😍) and so many other items and saved me hundreds on things I’d have been taking a chance on. Luke is my go to and when I type in something for a review and see Luke has covered it I feel reassured.
Excellent video and very well made!
I have an explorer 1000 and I'm super happy!... Also Jackery's customer service is excellent++ 👍
This review is 'ON POINT' thanks Luke for a full detailed review, once again!
Over the 3 days I never got below 50% power
So now that I’ve watched your video..... I’m gonna purchase a 12v fridge .... this is all your fault LoL
You’re right about this Jack 1000 best purchase I’ve made!
Damn! I've been looking at this specific one for a bit and you've got me convinced. Very much appreciate your time and the thorough review, brotha!

I am considering purchasing the same set up you got, for the same reasons. Are you happy with your purchase? Have you put it to use?
I bought Jackery 1000 and 2 solar panels partially based on your recommendation, thanks!
OUTSTANDING REVIEW AND I MUST CONCUR AS I HAVE BEEN USING MINE FOR OVER FOUR YEARS. THANKS FOR SHARING, MY FRIEND...
If it were a perfect rectangle with a foldable handle I'd have a bit less regret, but the idiot-proof power for days is simply astonishing
Can't wait to make some outdoor off-grid solar-powered synth videos :)
We just bought the 1000 based on my research, but it was nice feeling validated after watching your video. Thank you.

Thanks for the review! I just picked up The Jackery 1000 for $300. There was a flash sale on Amazon. So I'm extremely excited to try it!
MY CAMPING STYLES ARE:
1. Chevy Classic 1500 Conversion Van with the EXPLORER package upgrades.
2. Moto Tent Camping with 2 Vespa Scooters.
3. 19ft Airstream Bumper Pull Camper
4. Our Full-size Motorcoach for stays of 3 months or longer and Van goes with us too so even more camping options during longer stays.
IN CLOSING: Well then, that's why I like that Power Station unit. 😊
I’m thinking about it today … 3 yrs later
I bought the Jackery 1000 with two solar panels and the 300. I’m currently traveling and it’s performed great!

@@jakewatson1160 it uses very little for a phone.
Thank you. Watched a couple of video reviews and yours put me over that line. I ordered it and looking forward to camping with it.
I just bought one. To many power outages going around. Thanks for confirming my decision
Thanks for the review I just received mine today ! Looking forward to putting it to use
Have you used it yet? I am considering this model to serve as backup power in my condo.
I have the Jackery 500 and it's great. I highly recommend it.
Just want to say: Thank you. Jackery is currently 15% off in my country and I was really unsure to get one. It's some money. This video sold me.
Which Honda generator do you use ?????
I wouldn't be surprised if Honda buys Jackery. I almost bought the Honda EB2200i generator. The Jackery Explorer 1000 could eventually become its green sibling.
@GOTFO Lol, there is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON they wouldnt allow the jackery.
Its a friggin BATTERY.
Pfft
i hope you were joking.
@GOTFO yeeah i think he missed something in your comment. funny, tho. 😂
I just bought one. Thank you for the review. I’m looking forward to getting acquainted w mine.
Makes sense. 😲
Is it recommended to purchase two solar panels or will one be sufficient?
@@pault7280 It all boils down to time and time of year. With a pair, you can recharge fully in about 7-8 hours on a bright, sunny day. Obviously, that time will double with only one. Shorter winter days will compromise the recharging as well.
Just ordered this today (with two solar panels). Plan on using it for off-grid RV trips and just in case the grid gets hacked.
Its 500 cycles then its capacity drops to 80%
@@michaelbandeko3519Do we get 20% of our money back then?

Thank you for this thorough assessment. I wondered about the ability to power a fridge and your video successfully answered all of my questions.
I have a jackery 500 I bought to use in my jeep for overlanding. Excited to try it out. Was bit expensive buying it in Canada.
Can you power a home sized refridgerator with this 1000 jackery unit and maybe how long?
I'm putting this on my wishlist for 2021 and Jackery solar panels.
Have the 500 works great love how small it is.
The customer service information is highly interesting. Thanks for the agenda-free review!
Mine comes tomorrow and I’m pumped! Thank you for doing this review! Great job!
Your honesty sold me on getting one of these bad boys
Have been considering a Jackery. Good to know they are solid units.
Can I ask what the jackery has that the explorer doesn't? Thanks!

Thank you for this review. I've been considering the Jackery 500 as an emergency backup power supply for the pellet stove fan in the winter. While we don't *usually* have power outages, it does happen. Since this is quite an outlay for strict budgets, I so appreciate the honest review of quality!
Hey
Hey Luke my Dad has that he got his last year he takes it on the boat and his camper he likes it a lot any way hope y'all are doing well much love your way be safe have a wonderful day
Looks good , just a little pricey, but good quality cost money
Jackery are expensive even their smaller power stations, but you get what you pay for. I just bought a small E240, no flash light or fast charging USB ports. It will cater for my needs but even the E240 is was pricey. I went with a compatible waterproof solar panel, that was 60% cheaper then the Jackery non waterproof solar panels.
@@happydays9613 Do you have a link for the solar panels you bought? And also, does the brand solar panels you bought plug into the Jackery?
