Pre Christmas woodland wander.
We've had some very wet weather here in the UK recently,
so it was good to get out and practice some simple bushcraft skills.
Getting a fire going when the fuel is wet can be a challenge, but with a little method and practice it's a skill that can be easily gained.
I used my Titanium Folding firebox stove in this outing.
The Firebox stove contains the fuel and concentrates the heat, so you conserve fuel in the log term and it's a quick and clean leave no trace cleanup afterwards.
